*Flinx*One -shots

Hey there...

Jinx POV

Its been days since Madame Rouge came and Kid Flash escaped. Right now I'm cleaning the mess and destruction that is my room.i tried to fix the burns on the walls and the torn books and furniture that were everywhere.

'man…could this get any worse' I thought to myself As I picked up the hundreds of papers scattered all over the floor.

"I guess it can" I said a bitterly.for I have found one of my favorite drawings.it was one that gizmo gave me for my birthday a few months back.it was a painting of us,all of us,how he did it,I don't know.

The painting looked just like a picture.in it we were all huddled together smiling.I was in the center with a small smile and hands behind my back. On my right there were two Billies, one had an arm slung on my shoulder, waving with his other hand. the other was making bunny ears on the other Billy's head. Mammoth was on the left corner a confused expression on his face.on my left there stood Gizmo with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face.on the right corner Kyd wykkyd made a small peace sign in the air, all with a blank expression.

Now the painting was burned and torn.

"Good for nothing speedster" I grumbled as I kicked the papers on the floor.

"Excuse me,what was that now" I was startled by the voice that seemed to come out of nowhere.

"Bloody hell"I placed a hand over my heart. I looked around to see the one and only.Kid Flash.

"Why.in.the.world.would.you.do.that?!" I said as I smacked his arm on each word. I may have put in a little hex on one of them.

"Ouch that hurt" he whined.

I sighed deeply,then turned to glare at the red head.
"What do you want?" I bit back the rage threatening to spill from my mouth.

"I just came to see if you were still here" the boy walked around the room and then layed on my bed.

"Why wouldn't I be here? In case you haven't noticed, I sort of live here." I rolled my eyes.
"Well I just thought, you know…with madam rouge and all that."

"Well you thought wrong" I glared at him.

"Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have expected you to drop your whole lifestyle just because of one good looking hero, that's smart of you by the way." I rolled my eyes again.

"Yeah I know not to trust the wrong people,let alone the enemy"
(I left the topic about calling himself handsome, i know where that conversation could lead to.… 'EGO'.) There was an awkward silence.

"So…um why pink?" The speedster stood up from the bed and pointed at my devil horn shaped hair.

"What do you mean by'why pink'? I raised a non existent eyebrow at him.

"Well uh, why did um, you know dye…pink?" He made these weird gestures around his head.

"I didn't dye it. I was born with it." I sighed and sat on the floor,continuing with the task I had before the speedster came in.

"Oh sorry I didn't know someone could be- hey whatcha got there?" Kid flash sat next to me on the floor.

"A picture."
Flash looked over my shoulder to see the piece of burnt paper in my hands.

"Hey…is that the H.I.V.E?"
I nodded,

"Why is it all burnt and torn?"
"You"
The boy looked confused with my response.

"You.did.this…when you ran in here, when we caught you. Everything here was destroyed." I looked up and around the room.

"Sorry" I looked at the speedster. He was staring at the picture in my hand."i shouldve known better than running around here like a headless chicken." There was a himt of amusement in his voice but it was mostly sincere.

"Its fine…its just a piece of paper" I crumbled it and threw it across the room.

"Hey jinx?"
"Yes flash?"
"Just wondering...why do live like this,you know you could do a lot better than all of this."  He gestured to the whole room. I sighed, I know I could do better, so much better actually but I also knew why I couldn't leave.

"You know what Flash, do you really want to know why I didn't leave? You want to know why I can't leave?" He sat in front of me and looked me straight in the eye with a serious face, I returned the look.
"I have a family here. One that I may have not had for long...but a family no less. I may not completely understand or know them,and perhaps I never will, but those boys out there are my family." I looked down at my hands and sighed"...gizmo was there since the beginning... He's like a brother to me...mammoth  was just like a big brother too. I only met the rest just around a year ago, but they still matter.at least to me." I looked up to see that his expression softened.

"I get it...you don't wanna leave the people you care about...I have an uncle and aunt that I love with all of my heart. I wouldn't want to lose them either."
I nodded in understanding exactly the way he felt.

"I just want everything to be as simple as it could be...but i know that anything in this world cant be the way i want it...it never was anyways..." i sighed and stood.

"...you better leave before the others find out you're here." He nodded and sprung into his feet.

"Hey dont think i wont hex you next time you decide to drop by." I threatened him.

"And dont think i wont be there to charm you till you cant hex me. And to be honest im flattered that you said there will be 'a next time' and trust me...there will be a next time, sweetheart." He winked and then he ran at an impossible speed to unknown location.
I pretended to strangle him, puttimg my hands out where he was standing. Just a second later a gust of wind ran by. I was no longer strangling an imaginary kid flash but i was holding a blood red rose. With a note

I sat down on my bed and read the note out loud.

Dear Jinxy
Sorry again about the mess btw i get the thing about you and your team. Its like with me and the titans, we look out for each other. So fret not, i won't bother ya about it, but i wont give up on you, k?

P.p.s tell Mammoth sorry about the missing sandwich. Tell him it was good too. :D

I smiled, small, but a smile no less. I made my way out of the room. I looked back at the note that i left on my bed and smiled wider.

"Dont call me Jinxy, Speedster "
