Youre my choice

      He was tired, he was really tired. Wally had just finished a gruesome battle against a group of villains trying to blow up a city. Of course the boy didn't make it out of that with out a scratch. He actually got out of there with more than scratches. Blood pooled on the floor where he stood coming from his side. With a grunt he fell to the floor of an alleyway.

      'I need help' the red head thought to himself. He didn't want to risk the hospital taking off his mask, his uncle didn't even know he was patrolling and coming to his house bleeding wasn't a good way to tell him. He couldn't go with the titans, not after the fight he had with Dick.

      Wally sighed and groaned in pain against the nearest wall. He closed his eyes and a vision of a certain pink haired villain filled his thoughts.

He smiled.

    "That's crazy" he chuckled thinking about her reaction to a bleeding kid flash at her doorstep. " but do I have much of an option?" And with that he used whatever strength he had to speed off to the HIVE headquarters.

  Jinx POV

      It was a normal Saturday night at the home base. Everyone was asleep except for kyd, who was silently watching a movie in the center room. I was just heading to my room when I stopped dead in my tracks. My door was slightly cracked open. My blood boiled inside me.

"If one of those crud munching boys!-"

      I opened the door to find a hunched figure in my room. I quickly recognized the flaming red hair and locked the door behind me. The moonlight being the only light illuminated his features.

(Random POV)

"Hey" came a sheepish reply to her starting.

She harshly slammed the door shut.

"What are you doing he-" her angry voice died out as soon as she came closer to him. She could see what was unmistakably blood on his spandex hero uniform.

The boy shifter and instantly regretted it. He moved a little too fast and fell to the floor, gasping in pain.

"Flash!" Jinx bent down to where he had landed and held him up slightly. "What did you do!? You're bleeding!" He only chuckled at her.

"Thank you captain obvious" he laughed at his response and groaned when the vibration hit his sides.

"Flash!" She yelled at him in both annoyance and worry.

He breathed quietly and stared at her, taking in her features in the light of the moon.

"You don't need to worry about me Jinxie. My powers will heal me quick and easy. I just need... to rest." He quietly explained. "And maybe a new set of clothes " he added sheepishly looking down at his torn up suit.

Jinx rubbed her temples in frustration and sighed. She looked at him once more and jabbed a finger towards him.

"You you! Ugh!" She got up and walked towards her desk drawers where she kept a first aid kit.

Wally's pov

I watched the pink sorceress ran across her room, bouncing from place to place, gathering several items in her arms.

She returned kneeling in from of me and handed me bandages, fresh clothes, and several other items to help my wounds.

"Thank you" I looked up at her smiling. I could've sworn she blushed, but it was hard to tell through the lack of light.

"Don't mention it. Seriously don't mention it. I've got a reputation." She got up as she rambled.

"Knock when you're done" she said quietly as she stepped out for me to change.

I smiled

After I knocked she stormed in quickly making sure to lock her door. I chuckled breathlessly,like anyone would try to come in here.

She turned to me at hearing my laugh.

"Ok flash, start talking" she said gently pushing me to sit down on the bed of her dark room.

I looked down at my lap and a slight frown came to view on my face. She was staring but she knew to wait for me to speak. A little thing she had taught me, never fill the silence.

"The brotherhood" I kept my voice quiet.

I saw her tear away her gaze from me to look down at her palms. The deep breath she took in told me that I was about to hear what she had told me all those times before.

"I'm sorry"

Ok not what I expected.

It was my turn to stare at her. I turned my body towards her and was about to speak when she broke the silence.

"I knew they were coming...I I didn't know they would hurt- I didn't know they would do this" she finished her sentence gesturing to my wounds. "I'm so sorry flash."

She looked torn. And I was what made this. I went in for a comforting hug but she stood up before anything.

"I can't believe this!" She yelled, eyes glowing.

I stared and stood up to hold her. I crushed her to my chest the best I could, without hurting either of us.

" Jinx I hate to be the one to tell you this but... they're monsters jinx...they'll do anything to get what they want." I dug my face in her hair. "And you're not like them Jinxie"

I felt her stiffen, almost as if she had never been hugged before.After a minute I felt her arms wrap around my waist, very lightly.

"Thank you flash," she stepped away a bit to look up at me. I looked into her eyes, which were on the verge of tears.

" I don't really know how to say this but, thank you for choosing me" She giggled slightly. My heart soared at the words. I flashed a bright smile at her.

" of course Jinxie, you'll always be my choice."I saw her face turn deep red, faintly through the moonlight.

She nudged her face into my chest again as I smiled.

"You're my choice too flash."

"You're my choice too too Jinxie... you're my choice." I muttered the last part quietly to myself, hardly being able to believe the words that just took place.

"You're my choice"
