Ok real question, ignore the cheesiness, but what exactly is love here.
I mean by definition it's an intense feeling of deep affection or feeling a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone. Scientifically the emotion Love is the feeling someone gets when Endorphins are released in the brain. Which I mean is fair.
But how do you define what it is you love about something?
It's simple to look at someone and say you love them but what exactly is it you love?
Do you love her or do you just love the fact that you are not alone when you're with her?
Which brings me to the question of God. (Which is a very frank way to put it but I have no regrets.)
Any way. People claim to love their God and really I have nothing against that.
But do they actually love their God or do they love what he does for them?
Often times, I don't think it's God they love I think it's the idea that if there is a God, then what is there to worry about? As long as they think in a certain why and conjugate in a certain place everything will be fine.
And I will admit it's a beautiful concept.
But isn't it also terrifying?
This is a God who made me and everything I am but continues to condemn me exactly because of who I am.
I'm not exactly sure what it is God wants from me or how He desires me to act but I believe that He wants us to be kind and I mean a lot of times that's all I've got.
