She was a beautiful sweet loving and caring person I've always lived with her she developed a habit of drinking and doing pills after her and my stepdad split up she got a boyfriend which I hated because he caused her to drink and do more pills and then when he was drunk he would hit her I can't even count how many times I had to hit him or cuss him out over it 3 days before she died he came to stay the night and he was drunk but she hadn't drank any that night he fell asleep then woke up in a bad mood and when he walked through my apartment to the kitchen he tried to punch her in the face I got so pissed that I threw a chair across the living room and ran into the kitchen and grabbed him by his throat and told him to get out of my house before I killed him so he finally left after I cussed him out I lived in Kingsport at the time and he lived in Blountville so I don't even know how far he got when he decided to call my mom and I answered the phone and told him to not call her again then he tried to apologize and I told him I don't care how many times he said he was sorry I wasn't going to accept it then I hung up he didn't call her back again that night I made my mom some dinner and we ate then fell asleep when we woke up we knew that I had to go to my dads that week for visitation and I dreaded it so 6 O'clock came around and my moms boyfriends dad came and got us cause she didn't have a car at the time and he was a nice guy unlike his son he took me to my dads and my mom couldn't stay alone so she had to go to her boyfriends house for that week so I always knew that she got to call me twice through out the week while I was at my dads I was still asleep on a Monday morning and my dad came and woke me up he said that I needed to sit-up so he could talk to me so I did thinking maybe someone on his side of the family that I didn't know passed but he said your mom didn't make it last night and I thought maybe the car broke down and so I said where was she going and he said no she passed away last night I couldn't believe what he was telling me and then he said yes it's true that he had my stepmom call the hospital he told me that my moms boyfriend Called him and told him and right away I thought that he had something to do with her being dead because I've seen him put pills in her drink before and I had to pour it out before she drank it and he's had 6 dui's and if he ever gets in trouble again he goes to prison for the rest of his life and he needs to but any ways she was amazing and her name was Amy she's been through hell her whole life her dad blew his brains out on top of their house when she was 5 when her and her mom were inside she always got beat on and her mom always drank but her mom passed away in 2011 8 days after my birthday. My mom was only 35 when she died her cause of death was overdose but I'm not sure if it was suicide unintentional or her boyfriend but I do miss her a lot and think of her every day
