"Anna oh no" Casey almost began to cry as she made her way to her best friend. Casey was so stressed out lately Brodys parents are sending him off to a private school, her life at home was a disaster and now this drama. Casey knew she could not handle it anymore after the fight she had with her dad in the morning before class. By now she was in sixth period and all she did was stare off into space, the entire time. When she got home she hurried with her homework and went outside. Casey knew this was the place to let everything go and where she felt safe. Casey climbed a tree and just sat there hoping the leaves on the trees would keep her and her emotions hidden. Casey sobbed in the tree for the next two hours until the sky started to turn a very dark purple. As Casey tried not to mope into the house or make it look like she was crying she looked at the sky and a bright golden tear dripped down her face. The burning sensation against her cheek was unexpected yet she still stood still and let it drip cutting down her rosy cheeks. Right then she felt a spark of something she could not grasp but yet recognize although it was different just then the leaves started to swirl around her and the trees turned gold too just because of her golden tear. Casey doesn't know it yet but she has a gift that she will soon figure out to use and control throughout her hectic life.
