Date?

Matts POV

When I woke up Ianto was gone. The movie was also turned off. I got up and went to the kitchen. Ianto was there.

"Hey Ianto."
"Matt perfect timing, what should I make for dinner?"
"Uh.. what do you have?"
"I don't know, look in the pantry."

I take a look at the pantry and pull out some mac n cheese, muffin mix stuff and blueberries, which were in the fridge...."

"For dinner mac n cheese and desert blueberry muffins."
"Sounds... great! I'll start boiling water."
"Ok. On a scale of one to ten, how good of a chef are you?"
"Uh.. like, I don't know. 7, 8?"
"Ok."

As the food is being cooked we sat in the living room, he turned on the tv and let me choose what show to watch. I chose Doctor Who. I can't believe he hasn't seen it! It's like the best show of all time, one of anyway.

"So..." He said awkwardly.
"So I have a question."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, what's your dream date. Oh not like person, like place or something."
"Oh... hm... uh... I always kinda wanted my first date to be a beach picnic, around sun set."
"Ooo that's sound romantic, and awesome."
"Yeah? I mean I wouldn't really be able to... uh... have that date since I live nowhere near a beach..."
"Ianto, you do know my parents are rich, right?"
"Yeah are?"
"Yeah."
"Wait. Are you saying!?"
"If you really wanted to."
"YES MATT YES."
"Woah, calm down."
"Ok, I'm calm. I just can't believe!"

I smiled. He smiled back and slightly blushed. I got up to stir the mac n cheese. He followed.

"So... uh... when could we have this date?"
"Whenever your avaliable."
"Ok, uh is tomorrow ok?"
"Sure, I just need to talk to my mom about it and yeah."
"Awesome, I really can't believe this is happening!"

I just smiled. Just then the front door opened. Two women walked in with some bags.

"Ianto, sweetie were home!" One of them said.
"Penny, Jesse welcome home. Oh this is Matt."
"Why hello there Matt, I'm penny this is Jesse."
"Hello Penny and Jesse, it is a pleasure to meet you."
"Now, would you like to be a proper English man and have some tea with us?"
"Uh, sure."
"We're making mac n cheese and blueberry muffins" Ianto said.
"Oh that sounds lovely!" Penny said.

Time skip. Its was a few hours til Matt went home, about 9:30.

In the car

"Hey mom."
"Yes Matt?"
"So you know Ianto."
"Yes?"
"Well long story short were going on a date tomorrow and I need a ride to the island."
"Oh honey that's great! My man growing up in life! Of course you can get a ride, I'll call Toby to get the plane ready."
"Awesome, thanks mom."
"You know, Zoeys been asking me when we could go back to the island, could you bring her with you?"
"Yeah of course, as long as she doesn't get in the way to our date."
"I'm sure she won't. She just really wanted to get something from there."
"Ok."

At home

"Hey Zoe."
"Hey Matt how was your time at Ianto's?"
"Good, good, guess what?"
"What?"
"We're going to the island tommorow!"
"YAY."
"Excited?"
"Hell yeah I am!'
"Why so excited?"
"Well, I really wanted to visit the beach and well just be away from home really."
"Oh ok, oh Ianto's comin to."
"Ok, this will be a good time for us to bond or what ever."
"Yeah about that... we were going to the island to have a date."
"Really!? Good for you!"
"Yeah, I can't wait."
"Ok, imma watch a movie, wanna join?"
"What movie?"
"The Way He Looks."
"Oo, sure why not."

We turn on the movie. We have a projector screen and projector hanging from the ceiling. It has Bluetooth support so we can watch a movie on our wall next to our bed while the other person sleeps. It's super cool.
