Emmy's Prov

Beep Beep Beep

I roll over and check my clock, 6:43. Great. I have been awaken by the sound of the fire alarm, Mum must be cooking again. With a groan I drag myself out of bed and down the stairs to find out what new 'creation' my mum is 'cooking' and when I say cooking I mean burning.

"Goodmorning sweet heart" Mum calls over her shoulder "Did I wake you?" I give her a groggy smile "Yes Mum you did. Again". Instantly the smile falls from her face as she turns and walks toward me engulfing me in a tight hug, " I'm sorry, would you like to try some of my chocolate caramel pancakes. I burnt some of them but there are some good ones left over that you can have before school". I smile at mums comment "Yes please!' I say excitedly. I quickly eat the pancakes which were delicious! then rushed upstairs to get ready for school. Today I decided to wear my favorite pale denim skinny jeans and a flowy floral top, I straightened my hair a left it to hang over my shoulders. Now i'm ready to go.

As I walked down the hallway I noticed Selene standing at my locker, "heyy" she said pulling my headphones out and pulling me into a hug "hey, how are you?" I question. She smiles "I'm great, how are you?" I think for a moment before she interrupts my thoughts "let me guess your mum woke you up again?" I give her a small nod before replying "she was cooking again." Selene erupted into a fit of laughter, "w-wh-what was she cooking this time?" She struggled to say through her laughter. "Chocolate Carmel pancakes, which might I add actually tasted nice" she just stared at me in shock. My mum cooked something that actually tasted nice, that wasn't toxic. Nice.

The bell went and I turned to walk to class when Selene suddenly jumped on my back and I fell to a heap on the ground. "Ouch!" I groan crawling out from under Selene who was giving me a sheepish grin. She quickly helped me up and we walk to class together. We had roll class together and I sat with her everyday, we are best friends after all.

**bringgg bringgg**

Finally the bell goes and we exit the room. I have English first, I hate English my class is full of stuck up popular bitches and assholes from the football team, I think i'm the only one with a brain in this whole class. Speaking of assholes here comes Steven Sparks, head of the baboons we call the football team. I don't know why girls fall for him all he ever does is break their hearts, yea he may be the hottest guy I've ever seen but he really isn't worth the pain or humiliation in the end. Steven walks past me and sits in the back row and starts mucking around with his baboons. Ms Winters walks in and begins speaking to the class " Goodmorning class, Today i will be handing out your assignments." This should be a piece of cake I think to myself but then Ms Winters continutes "You will be working in pairs and performing a two minute act. I will be selecting your partners and the act you do." Yay for life..not! The class erupts into complaints and groans. Our teacher continues anyway " Mark and Elisa act 2 scene 1, James and Amy act 1 scene 1, Ray and Sarah act 3 scene 4, Josh and Kristina act 1 scene 2..." *blah blah blah* "....and the last two pairs are Emmy rose and.." *oh god here we go there's only three people left I could be stuck with Steven, Joe or Summer.. Urggh* ".....Steven Sparks Act 1 Scene 5" *It's offical my life is over, the one person that I didn't want to be stuck with FML.* " making our last pair Joe and Summer Act 3 scene 2, students if you could now go and sit with your partners." Everyone begins to move but I stay in my seat, I am not moving for him, no way. Eventually steven slid into the seat next to me " Hey I'm steven." I don't even look up from my book " uhh hi." I reply awkwardly. "So what part do you want to do first" he questioned "The kiss?" He nudges me with his elbow. I instantly staighten up and glare at him "How about no." i deadpan, glancing at the clock, five minutes left until i can get as far away as possible from this ass. "aww you're no fun" he complains. *that's because your a man whore* "tragic isn't it" I say sarcastically. He looks at me for a minute before unplugging my earphones, stopping my music "very tragic" he said trying not to laugh at the expression on my face. "jerk" I say punching him in the arm. Steven rubs the spot I hit him faking hurt "That wasn't very nice and your being judgemental." I poke my tongue at him "I can be judgemental if I want to." We continue mucking around until the bell.

As soon as the bell rang I ran out of the room and away from Steven. I don't know why but I needed to get away from him, just because I was nice to him in class doesn't mean I have to be nice out of class.

Stevens prov 

As the bell rang I packed up my books and looked back to where Emmy was sitting, to my surprise she was already gone. She had left without even saying goodbye, I don't know why but that bothered me.

With a sigh I went and joined the guys for lunch, the girls where all over us. I love being top of the school, I had every girl in school wishing that they could go on a date with me except one. Emmy, she was just so different from the rest it was like she hated me, like she was repulsed by me. She didn't like me and I hated it.
