Message In A Bottle (Jerrie Thirlwards AU)

01 - Perrie

"C'mon Perrie," my friends whined at me from the water. I shook my head as I had before indicating that I wanted to stay dry.

I heard them continue to whine and beg for me to come in. It wasn't that I hated the water. It was just that I wanted to stay dry and work on a tan for my pale skin.

I looked up and saw my two guy friends, Louis and Liam, smirking at me.

"Hey," I mumbled at them. "Perrie you're coming. One way or another," Louis told me with his smirk becoming larger.

"No," I stated while trying to get up from my towel. It was too late. They already had me surrounded. I groaned at them, as I felt myself being lifted from the ground.

I was thrown over Liam's shoulder because I could see Louis jumping with excitement that his plan actually worked.

"Put me down," I begged Liam. Liam only chuckled but said "Alright,"

I was about to be relieved, but Liam continued to run before placing me down in the cold water.

"That's not what I meant," I whined at him. Now everywhere, but my upper neck and head were wet. He shrugged and told me "Hey, it feels nice,"

I rolled my eyes at him. "Perrie at least try to have some fun," my best friend Leigh-Anne called out.

I sighed out, but muttered "Fine." I could see their smiled even when I wasn't looking at them.

"Let's play monkey in the middle," Louis said while smiling. "There's four of us you idiot," Leigh-Anne told him.

"Well two monkeys," Louis said while giving a duh expression. I nodded my head immediately feeling a rush for competition.

The thing about us is that we are very competitive. Especially Louis and I.

"Since Perrie was the last one in the water she can be one of the monkeys, and she gets to choose who she wants to be with her," Liam said while shrugging. I smirked and said "Well I choose you Mr. Payne,"

Liam sighed but moved so he was next to me. "You're going down Tommo!" I screamed at the cocky boy. He smirked and said "I have six younger siblings please I'm used to monkey in the middle,"

I rolled my eyes. Louis took the ball from his swim suit pocket. "Why do you have a ball in there?" I asked. "I knew we were coming here and it's always fun playing a game with a ball,"

"You're so weird," I muttered at Louis. "Alright lets play!" Leigh-Anne shouted. Louis threw the ball over both Liam and I's heads.

It plopped right next to Leigh-Anne so there was no point in going after it. Leigh grabbed the ball and faked a few throws before throwing it almost above Liam's head. Liam jumped up and caught it in the air. He caused a ton of water to splash onto me.

"Liam!" I screamed at him. He looked over and laughed seeing me covered in water. "Oops," he said while still laughing. Liam and Leigh switched places.

"Let's get these boys! C'mon Perrie," Leigh said very excitedly. They started chucking the ball over our heads when I caught it.

"Haha Tomlinson. You suck ass!" I cheered while walking to where the brown headed boy was previously standing.

We had been throwing the ball for hours until the sun had been going down. "It's getting pretty late." Liam commented at the horizon which was now getting pretty dark.

"Yeah we should probably dry off and get going," Leigh-Anne said while shivering a little. I nodded and started to swim toward the shore.

I suddenly felt something on my foot and was confused to what it was. I tried to pick up what hit my foot, but got no luck.

Liam came up behind me and scared me a little. "Shit. What did you sneak up on me for?" I asked sternly.

"Sorry sorry," He chuckled and looked at me. "You were just standing still for a good two minutes. You okay?" He asked me.

"Yeah I just thought that I felt something on my foot that's all," I told him. He laughed louder and started to look for whatever touched my foot.

All of a sudden he pulled a bottle out of the water and looked at it. "I have a feeling we found whatever touched you,"

"Give me it," I said. Liam handed me the bottle and I took it up toward shore. There was a note or something inside of it.

"Guys Liam and I found a bottle with a note in it!" I chirped. Louis and Leigh walked over toward us and handed us towels.

Liam and I started to dry off as Louis got the bottle open. "Wow the note looks pretty old," Louis commented while looking at the paper.

"Read it out loud Louis," Leigh told him. "I can't see it right now. Let's read it in the car." He mumbled while putting the note back in the bottle.

We finished drying off and got all of our items into the car. Louis and Liam were in the front seats while Leigh and I sat in the back.

The lights of the car turned on and Louis took the note out of the bottle again. He began to read what the note contained.

"Dear whomever gets this message. Hi I'm Jade Thirlwall. I live in Miami but am originally from England (I miss it like crazy) . Let's see I'm 22 now which is exciting I guess. I like to sing a lot and draw. Also I write a lot. I already graduated college and I'm currently am working in Starbucks part time as well as a part time nurse. I'm not sure why I am writing this note. Haha I guess I was just kinda bored and wanted a new friend. To whomever gets this my Twitter is @Jadet92! I don't really have any other social media sorry!! Bye I guess. Let's see where this lands. Love xx Jade xx (Date January 28, 2015)" Louis read our to us.

"Should we message her on Twitter?" I asked still shocked that we had actually found a bottle with a message.

"Why not? She's around our age," Liam said while shrugging. He started to drive the car back to our shared apartment.

I smiled and got on my phone and went to Twitter. I searched the username and found the girl.

"She's really hot guys," I said out loud looking at the girl. She was perfectly tan and had gorgeous wavy brunette hair.

Leigh nodded and I gave my phone to Louis who agreed with my as well. Liam of course was driving and couldn't see her, but I would show him once we were back in our apartment.

I typed a direct message up and clicked send before showing the message to Leigh-Anne.

"That sounds lovely Pez," she smiled softly at me as I clicked the send button. Now we wait and see what this  Jade girl says to my message.
