Not talking to me and my mum!
"Mrs Jenkins. Please come to room 205."
We did as we where told, opening the door we saw that same woman who approached us earlier, the janitor who pretended to be some sort of important person at the work place.
Behind her was who I think was the Mrs Reed. I know her name because it said so on the door.. You thought I was physic for a minute didn't you? Haha.
"Take a seat please," said Mrs Reed. "You too Mar..Marylin. Marylin it is, isn't it??"
"Yes... ?"
"Good, now Mrs Jenkins, your daughter must fill this out, it's an option of secondary schools which she can attend to in this Borough. She can choose up to three, and one will be selected. By the way just to clarify that just because she chooses her best school first, doesn't necessarily mean that she'll get into it. It's all according to her KS2 exam scores. So here's the sheet, I'll give you 5-10 minutes to decide, and let me know when your done. Any questions? Asked Mrs Reed.
"No, no questions, thanks. Marylin do you have a question?" Asked mum.
"Yes, Mrs Reed, if I don't get into the school I wanted, what will happen?"
"Good question. What will happen is that you'll be transferred to one of the schools you chose as an option."
"Well that sucks."
"Mind your language Marylin." Mum warned.
We got up, and moved over to the other side of the room, and discussed what schools I wanted to go too. I already decided, but my mum just wanted me to be sure of what I was doing. After a couple minutes of decision making, we came to a conclusion of the three we wanted, well the three I wanted.
"Here you go." I handed the paper to Mrs Reed.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
She smiled and took the paper out of my hand as I was giving it to her, she took a brief look and placed the sheet on the table.
"Well, looks like we're pretty much finished here. Fingers crossed you get into the school you wanted, and I'll let you know any further details in one weeks notice. Or anything else mail you. Thanks for coming, and have a good time. See you later." Beamed Mrs Reed.
We tucked our chairs in, and left the room. The asian janitor woman stood by the doorway, leading us out. I think we pretty much already knew how to walk through a door...
"Batool your job is not to escort people in and out, your job is to clean the toilets, and the entire building ! Now stop your foolishness!" Bellowed Mrs Reed.
"I'm sorry." Wept Batool.
"Oh typical crocodile tears!" Chuckled Mrs Reed.
"Mum, can we get out of here." I whispered. "I'm a bit scared now of Mrs Reed."
"Agreed."
Me and my mum slowly tiptoed backwards out of the building, as soon as the building was a bit out of sight, we ran so fast, that we couldn't feel our legs. Mum quickly unlocked the car, and opened the front door for me, I got in quicker than Rebecca Black could decide which seat she could take!
"MUM, STEP ON IT!" I yelled. We were going faster than the Road Runner the Coyote in Looney Tunes has been trying to catch all these years! "Mum, slow down! She's not chasing us."
"Your right.. Haha" she chuckled.
I buckled my seat-belt, and as my mum decreased the gear.
"Mum, can we go to Mc Donald's pleaaaaasee!"
