11 years later , Trevel is now 34 , Davonte' is now 13 , and Baby Marie is now 11. Diamon has been deceased for all those years. Marie asks about her mom all the time. And Davonte' still is mourning about her death . Trevel ,on the other hand, has to stay strong for the kids but, most of the time he wants to give up . He doesn't trust anybody with his kids , so he takes them everywhere . Even though he has changed , who can change him back ?
