Chapter 5

Kylo Ren's POV
"General Hux." I asked, putting on my mask. I had left Dakota to sleep, I had a duty.
"Yes Sir?" He replied, looking out the ship window.
"Is the weapon ready?"
"Yes. What planet is first?"
"The *insert cool planet spacey name here* Planet."
"Yes. Good choice Sir." General Hux replied before barking orders.

Dakota's POV
I woke up. Feeling Ren's warmth gone, sitting up I looked around. I was still in the dark room. Guessing it was Ren's I got up, fishing for clothes in his drawer to wear. I found a black dress, not sure why Ren would have it I out it on. It was perfect. I put my hair up in a braid and left the room to find Ren.

"Ren?" I called. I heard him barking orders, as I entered the room I saw him with his dark cloak and mask on. I walked up behind him smiling.
"Dakota?!" Ren yelled as he looked over his shoulder. He quickly took off his mask. Revealing his handsome face.
"Hey Ren." I smiled, kissing him.
"Dakota? Why are you here? I thought you were sleeping..." Ren's voice trailed off as General Hux walked up behind him.
"The weapon is ready."
"What weapon?" I asked, looking through the window to see a nearby planet... It was oddly familiar.
"Fire. Dakota you need to leave." Ren said, pushing me towards the door.
"Not until you tell me what is this weapon you speak of." I said, all playfulness gone.
"Dakota you need to leave.. NOW!" Ren barked, pushing me to the door, I struggled to see what was going on. Before Ren pushed me out of the room, I saw a great red beam of light, once it was gone, the planet before me was gone.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?" I screamed, pushing past Ren and running to the window. Hux and the troopers watching curiously.
"WHAT THAT PLANET INHABITED?" I asked, turning to Hux.
"Yes..." He said, his voice trailing off as he started to choke for a second, quickly stopping. I turned behind me to see Ren's hand up, I realized Ren was choking Hux. As soon as he noticed me watching he stopped, Hux fell to the ground.
"Snoke will not be happy to hear about this." Hux demanded, storming out.
I could almost hear the screams of the people who had died so easily. Not even knowing before it was too late.
"Why Ren.." I asked, tears flowing out of my eyes.
"I had too Dakota.... It was filled with Resistance fighters."
"Oh yeah... That makes it all better!" I yelled.
"Dakota.." Ren started, I cut him off.
"You're a monster..." I whispered.
"What?" Ren seemed shocked.
"You're a monster!" I yelled, tears still flowing from my eyes.
"NO. I'M. NOT!" Ren screamed. I backed away as he advanced towards me.
"Ren... I didn't mean..." I started, cutting off as I lost the ability to breath. I soon realized I was being choked.... By my own lover.
