alex and natsu stood in a concrete room in the guild. alex had never been here before.

"this"natsu echoed "is the fire training room" alex looked around noticing the burn marks dotted around the room "so lets do this im fired up!"

"im fired up!" mimicked alex 

"now..."natsu whispered " close your eyes" alex did as she was told "imagine the flames in your fists for now" a small spark grew but died out almost instantly

"did i do it?"whispered alex, breaking the silence

"shhhhhhhhhh!"answered natu...."try again" alex once again did as she was told. this time the flame lasted longer but wasnt so bright."this time think about your anger....things that have make you mad...." 

alex thought back to her parents and her life before fairy tail. the things that made her mad. the flames went brighter and bigger....a second later she was on the floor. she had fainted.

"hey! alex! wake up!" shouted natsu unsympathetically as he did wendy came rushing in

"dont worry ill heal her....she probably used up too much magic energy.....it is her first time using magic!"wendy shouted worriedly

"yeah you dope! you should have stopped and given her a break instead of allowing her flames to get that big!" said grey as he casually wandered in....topless as usual

"i know i know ! i just wanted to see how strong she is! she is pretty powerful" replied natsu as he knelt by wendy who was just about to heal alex "dont" he said grabbing wendys arm "i she will wake up in 3........2.........1 and" alex slowly woke up 

"huh"she said holding her head and standing up "can i do magic yet?"

"you sure can we will need to practice a little more though" replied natsu
