3- The Sky Under the... Babysitter?

A/N- Yes I suck, and yes I haven't updated in a millennium because of literally who I am as a person. The title doesn't really make sense  but hey it incorporates song lyrics:) Please please please please tell me your thoughts in the comments or make a request of what you want to read and I'll write it!!!! I hope you enjoy this long over due chapter!

Kellin's POV-

"Shit shit shit," I mumbled under my breath, trying not to wake Copeland. I had planned to finally go out with my friends and my babysitter just canceled on me. If I cancel on my friends again they're going to be so pissed at me, and I really do not want to lose them.

At that moment, Copeland started screaming in the other room. I love her to pieces but she sure does cry a lot. I ran to her room and picked her up, cradling her in my arms. 

"Shh," I cooed in her ear and she immediately calmed down. As I rocked her in my arms I thought carefully about what I could do to still go out with my friends but Copeland not be alone. She is only 1 after all.

I sighed, realizing I had no other option but to cancel. I couldn't bring her along because we were going to a bar and that isn't exactly a place for a baby girl to be. I called Mike, who was part of my friend group.

He answered on the third ring. "Hey Mike. Look I'm so so so so sorry but I don't think I can make it tonight because Copeland is here and my babysitter just canceled on me and I can't bring her because we're going to a bar and...," I rambled on, out of breath.

Mike sighed on the other end. "Look dude we understand, kids are a big priority. Just- Wait!" Mike exclaimed. He seemed to have an idea. "My older brother Vic is here and he's not busy tonight. I can ask him if he can babysit," Mike said excitedly. 

I had met Vic a few times. He seemed pretty nice and very responsible, not to mention he was attractive as hell. "Sure dude that would be great!" I said, smiling widely.

"Okay hold on I'll ask him. Don't hang up," Mike said. I heard him walking upstairs through the phone and then some mumbling. Finally, he got back on the phone. "He said he'll do it!" Mike said. "He's very excited too, he loves kids." Aw thats so cute. 

"Okay awesome. When will he be here?" I asked.

"Um well we're meeting there at 7 and its 5:30 now so he'll come at 6:30, is that okay?" Mike replied.

That gives me just enough time to get ready. "Yeah thats perfect!" I said, smiling.

"Okay we'll see you soon," Mike said, hanging up.

I jumped up in excitement. I get to go out with my friends AND Cope will be taken care of. I ran up to my room to find what to wear. I settled on some black skinny jeans, a long sleeved white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, black toms and a dark red beanie. 

I ran to my bathroom to shower. Once the water was warm enough, I hopped in. I can't wait for Vic to get here. He is a pretty shy dude, which is adorable. Maybe I could mess around with him a little bit. 

Once I finished I dried myself off, put my clothes on and straightened my hair. I threw on my beanie and Toms and went to check on Cropland, who was sleeping soundly. I watched her for a bit. Creepy, I know but she's so adorable I can't help it. I checked the time on my phone which read  6:25. I finished just in time. I went downstairs to make sure everything was in order.

Just as the clock turned to 6:30, the doorbell rang. I quickly fixed my hair and walked over to the door. I opened it to see the hot Mexican standing there, looking at his feet. "Hi!" I said cheerfully.
