Day two...

Yumi looks over to see a boy but does not move her head. So more like a glance. Figuring he was going to be mean, or start thinking mean comments. Yumi puts her head down slowly, looking out the window, still watching the outside.
Wishing.
Hoping, that there will be a day where someone would take her away from all this. All the misery left in her heart. Dragging it down into the pit of her stomach. One day. Just one day, I will be free. Free from all of the people. Free from the broken. I wish i could grow wings. Listening to the nothingness, before hearing the screeching bell, calling everyone to get to their classes. Not watching where to go, a kid pushes her to the side before feeling herself bump into someone else.

Page had been immersed in a somewhat visionary sketch of the way that he thought cats should appear (what with wings and long, breeze-catching tails and whatnot) when he felt the air move and all the sudden the girl was falling towards him- shoved, most likely, by one of the many older kids who were pushing through the crowds like self-appointed buggers. He made a hasty move to catch her; how it ended up was her flopped ungracefully in his half-extended arms, his sketchbook pressed against both their necks and the tips of the pencils poking at the end of his nose. He looked down at the pencils, then up at her, feeling flustered.
"I, uh... sorry for... I don't..." He paused. "This is awkward." As soon as those words had come out of his mouth, he cringed. That had just make it more awkward. This ascot and ensemble is doing nothing for me, he thought dryly, wondering what the girl (what was her name? The one he was always searching for on Facebook and Twitter like a huge stalker but never could find? Was it "Yui" or "Yumi?" Yes, "Yumi," that had to be it) would make of all this.
"I, um... didn't mean to be in your way?..."
Dear God. He wasn't IN HER WAY. He had CAUGHT HER. He swallowed, throat dry. She has to think I'm an idiot. Just hope she can't see the cat picture...
