Moonlight

Natsu grabbed Lucy's hand. He had to tell her how he felt. For a long time he's been with his blonde best friend. But he wanted to be more than friends. He had further feelings. Lucy stiffened by the feeling of his touch and hard grip. "Wait Lucy! Please for a little longer!" he exclaimed. Lucy turned around and smiled weakly trying to hide her feelings. "Yes Natsu?" she asked. It was painful for her to look at him. She was in love with him. But would he ever love her back? Did he really return her feelings? Or did he want to talk to her to reject her feelings? She nervously looked up at him. "Lucy! From the time I've met you I thought you were weird! (Lucy sweatdropps at this part) You were always complaining about things and yelling at Happy and I! But I saw many sides to you and I love everything about you. Your smile is beautiful and it lights up my day. You're sweet strawberry scent attracts me to you! When you're sad my world is also sad. When you're mad I'm mad. When someone hurts you I will beat the crap outta them! I hate to see you with other guys it frustrates me! You always worry about me and take care of me and make me feel happy. Lucy I... I LOVE YOU!" he exclaimed. Lucy started tearing up. Natsu freaked out. Was this too much for her to handle? She smiled while the tears glided down her cheeks. "I love you too Natsu! For a very long time I did! But I never thought you would love me. I love you so very much!" she exclaimed through tears. Natsu hugged her tightly. She felt secure in his warm embrace. She felt his muscular arms around her own body making her feel safe. She cried on his shoulders and he smoothed her hair. "Shhhh. It's okay." he said. His words brought her relief in an instant. They parted from their hug. Lucy shone under the moonlight. Her brown eyes twinkling with beauty. She wiped her tears. "Ugh I look like a mess. " she said as she smiled awkwardly. Natsu touches the side of her face. "No you look beautiful to me." he said showing his signature grin. She smiled and nodded. He drew his face closer to hers. She could feel the heat from his body. She also leaned in. When their lips touched there was a feeling of happiness. They kissed under the moonlight.
