False hope

Chapter 3

Arriving to Ranchen beach we quickly spotted
Allison on the bench near her car.

"What took you guys so long?" She asked
We all pointed at Caleb's direction

"I was quick" he defended

"Whatever, awww. Now look the tide isn't high anymore" Chris said with a pout.

"It's all Caleb's fault" Emily said.

"Let's just walk around and head over to our spot" John suggested walking towards our spot guiding us.

We settled down at the ramp, which is our spot, and laid down looking at the clear blue sky filled with big puffy, cotton like, clouds.

We suddenly heard a boat engine pass through we all sat up waiving to the boat.

"Bye, Jeremy" Chris shouted at the boat passing by, then the tour guide waved ba at us.

"Who's Jeremy?" We all questioned

"I don't know, a random name?" She shrugged laughing... We All joined in seconds after.

Standing up, I place my phone and keys into Caleb's bag. Helping him up I almost fell into the water.

"Sorry" Caleb quickly grabbed my hand preventing me from falling in.

"Thank you" I replied

"I really want to swim." He pleaded

"Then go jump in" I said playfully pushing him

"You go first."

"No, you jump in first. I want to go the safe way"

"Fine, I'll jump first." Allison stood up and jumped in, with me following moments after her. I made a splash as I entered the other water, as I was ascending, I saw Caleb still standing on the ramp.

"Now jump, Caleb" I shouted at him.

A big splash followed Caleb after he had jumped in.. Emily, Chris, and John decided to stay up in the ramp.

"It's a good thing I brought this." Hold up a mask and a snorkle Caleb put it over his head.

"This boy"I said looking to Allison who was laughing.

"Yep"

Coming up and taking off the mask Allison and I laugh hysterically.

"What?! What happen?" Caleb asked confused

"You have a mark on your face" I traced the marking of the mask on his face then he laugh along.

"Who wants to go next?" Raising up the mask I quickly took it and slightly wiped the snorkel to remove some of Caleb's saliva off of it.

I put it on me and dove down to see wonderful and colorful fish. One reason I love this place is because it is paradise. Its not like any other place you've been to. Its simple wonderful and peaceful.

Swimming in between Allison and Caleb was so funny I could see them and I acted like a shark around them.

Coming up to the surface I took the mask off of my face and handing it to Allison.

Caleb and I were standing on the same rock screaming and waving at boats passing by.

"You look so dorky with your hair, Caleb" I said running my hands through his hair fixing it..

"Hey, you too.." He said taking my hair and waiving it around.

As we were swimming around, i climbed unto his back putting my hands around his neck, as he grabbed my legs to wrapped around his waist, putting us in a piggyback position

I was like riding a horse, but Caleb isn't a horse. He is a donkey.

"Swim Donkey, swim" I said playfully

He was swimming and walking around the water. The water was about neck height for me since I was short..
Still riding on his back and his hands still around my legs, he submerged us into the water nearly drowning me.
"Really Caleb, you really want me dead don't you?" I said jokingly as we arose.

"Haha Sorry Em" he spoke softly

"Guys we should go now the tide is getting to low, we might not be able to get up." Allison said

"Its too low already" Caleb said.

"Okay, here's the plan" Allison pointed to a small platform "see that platform right there? We, one by one, step on it and climb to the ramp, okay? Let's do this"
in a matter of seconds she got up leaving Caleb and me still in the water having a hard time.

"Caleb what are you doing?" I asked he was karate chopping the fish.

"The fish will bit us, that's there home you know?" He said.

I suddenly step unto the platform then helping Caleb get up.

"See Caleb, Em is more braver then you are" Chris and Allison said teasingly.

"Oh, whatever." Caleb replied defending himself.

By this time Emily had been picked up by my mother for her performance.

"Hey, Em let's sit at the very back" Caleb asked me grabbing my hand.

"But John and Chris already took that seat." I said pointing towards the car.

"Oh shit never mind" we decided to sit at the second row. Allison was to my left while Caleb was to my right. And Chris and John were behind us.

"Hey, miss Blank? Can we stop by McDonald's to buy fries" Caleb asked "I'll treat everyone."

"Wow, Caleb really?" Chris asked.

"Ya sure okay, after that who do we drop first?" Miss Blank asked

"We should drop John first, since he lives far."

"Okay, then let's go" miss Blank then started the engine.
