"Auden?" Aspen asked curiously, shocked to see him there. Without another word, he pushed the door open, grabbed Aspen by the waist with one hand, and passionately slammed his lips against hers. It was seconds before the shock started to fade as she melted deeper and deeper into the kiss, kicking the door closed behind her and following him as he guided her back to her bedroom.
"Are your roommates home?" He whispered hotly against her neck, looking around the apartment cautiously as they backed into her room.
"Yeah, but they're tripping on shrooms so hard right now that we're safe." she explained, and he started chuckling into the top of her head as he kicked the door closed behind him and hoisted her up onto his shoulder. She gripped onto his sweater as he carried her back to her bed, sitting down on the end and placing her on his lap. She straddled her legs around him and ran her lips along his, teasing him. He groaned in response, taking her face in both of his hands with such passion Aspen lost her breath.
"You were great in class today," he complimented her, his voice rough and on edge. He quickly flipped her over so that he was hovering over her as she lay on her back. "You were great too." She replied back bashfully, looking back up at him with a small quirky smile. He came back down onto her, and she wrapped one leg onto his hip to support herself. With one swift motion, he removed the sweater to reveal his toned, muscular torso and arms. Aspen's breath hitched and she immediately dove back in.
This wasn't the first time Auden and Aspen had hooked up. It started at a party the previous semester, and quickly escalated into an every-day affair. For the sake of it's intimacy, it was kept a secret from everyone, not wanting to ruin the special connection the two of them shared. Neither of them really wanted to be exclusive; at least Auden didn't...
Sweaty and out of breath an hour later, Aspen reached for the robe by her bedside and covered herself, quickly trotting across the room to her bathroom.
"Can I smoke in here?" Auden asked, placing a cigarette between his teeth and holding up a lighter questioningly.
Aspen hesitated but nodded, "Just as long as you open a window. Oh, I'd also recommend maybe putting your boxers back on before you did so." She added as she closed the door behind her. Auden had forgotten that he was laying half covered under her sheets, his clothes thrown halfway across the room. He chuckled at himself and walked over to put his pants back on. They were right next to a type writer, and beside the typewrite was a thick stack of papers. Nosily, he picked it up and started reading Aspen's novel, taking a long drag out of his cigarette in the process.
When Aspen was all fresh and clean, she came out to find Auden sitting on her bed with the draft for her novel, the room cloudy from the smoke despite the open window. In theory, there was probably more city smog coming into her room than cigarette smoke leaving it.
"What are you doing?" She asked, sitting down on the bed next to him.
"This novel is amazing so far." He complimented her, finishing the last page. "When do you plan on finishing it?" He asked.
"Eh.. that's the problem. That's my third book I've attempted to write in two years. I can always start the book, but I hate endings. I can never write them." She explained shyly.
"I think that this would no doubt be a huge success.." He assured her, leaning in to kiss her again. She returned it eagerly, but didn't notice him slip the copy into his own bag at the side of the bed.

"Fuck- I'm late!" Aspen suddenly gasped, jumping out of her bead and skidding over to her closet. Auden groaned from the bed and stared up at her from under his thick brows as she slipped on her jeans and uniform polo. Light wash skinny jeans clung to the lower half of her figure while the black polo shirt with pink neon cursive writing sat on her left breast. She quickly tied a low bun, scowling as the shorter pieces fell down to frame her face, and handed Auden back his jeans and shirt.
