I smirked and watched as the crook was beat up by the bird and the bat. He had stolen from me. Little did the bird or the bat know, I had stolen as well. I tried to hide my smirk immediately so they wouldn't get suspicious. Instead, I acted like a scared 15 year old girl that was just stolen from.
I watched with wide eyes and fake wonder as the thieves were pummeled by the bird while the bat watched. It was boring. But I couldn't do shit thanks to me being monitored. I inwardly groaned as I thought of my situation. Not long though, The bird was done and my bag was being handed back to me. "Oh. Thank you!" I exclaimed, trying to remain respectful in front of these two. Robin just nodded and he was gone. Batman was gone as well. Smart boys, I thought. Don't talk in costume.
I resumed my walk home, home not being very far. After walking for about three minutes, I reached my apartment and climbed up the fire escape, the fun way to get in. "Honey," I called once I reached the window. "I'm home!" and then I remembered. "Wait, I live alone!" I said with mock happiness. Despite the outward appearance and the fact that I can rarely afford things over a hundred bucks, this place was pretty cosy. There were three rooms minus the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room and my own room. The kitchen had the usual appliances, the living room containing a red and black bean bag and my room contained nothing but a mattress and in the closet was a few clothes. Flopping onto the bean bag, I opened my duffle bag filled with wallets and watches, my speciality. Only three of the watches out of five were worth anything. I mentally cursed myself. Two too many. I checked the wallets and came up with $567 all together. "Aw yeah!" I said, pumping my fist. "Score!!!"
I put $300 in my savings box that I hid under a tile in the bathroom. It was sturdy so no one would even guess that it was hiding anything. Before putting the tile back, I counted What I hard so far. $4,775. I grinned proudly. If I could manage this right, I could get out of Gotham. Or maybe even stay but get a better apartment.
I looked at my calendar and that's when everything cane crashing In. Tomorrow. That was the day I planned on leaving for Star City. I jumped and squealed. I was going back! To find that one person I had fallen in love with all those years ago... and I had more than enough to do so.

Later that night, I packed two days worth of clothes in a beat up duffle bag. Mixed up in the clothes was my cash, hidden inside the sole of my shoe. Gotta be careful here in Gotham. I waited and set out right at dawn, wearing a baggy grey hoodie and faded blue jeans. Luckily, the crime on my part of the city was dull at this hour and I made it to the bus station with no problem.
Using some of the cash I had left out of my shoe, I bought I one way ticket to Star City.
I was right on time. The bus came 30 minutes after waiting. 5 minutes later, I was on board the bus. Playing with my pure white hair, I smiled in relief to myself as the bus pulled off. Once we were out of Gotham, I let out a sigh of relief and slumped in my chair. "Good girl," I whispered to myself.
I left nothing behind except a past that should be forgotten. In Star City, I was going to start fresh. No more street thief. No more crime. Just... what I can get by. I fell asleep, my dreams filled with possibilities.

I woke up as the bus pulled into the station in Star City. "Yes!" I cheered, grabbing my duffle bag and becoming the first one off he bus. The bus driver smiled after me, but I payer no attention. Instead, I headed to the home of my uncle, Oliver Queen. It's only been two years.
He should still be there, as long as nothing major happened to the Queen Mansion.
But knowing Oliver, he would probably rebuild it in the very same place. It surprisingly wasn't far from where I was. I began to walk, hands in my pockets and duffle bag securely around my shoulders.
It didn't take much walking before the arrow flew past my face. My eyes widened and I took a few steps back. "Holy-" I looked for the source of the arrow and came face to face with the person I've only heard about on the news. "Green Arr-" I felt a sharp pain in my neck and I blacked out.
