As Jane woke up from that horrible nightmare, there was still some flashes of them every time she would dare to close her eyes. Her head felt like it was pounding, pounding worse when her dogs came in barking their asses off in the middle of the night.
"Ugh, Stefano."
Stefano whimpers and vaulted onto her bed waiting for Jane's attention, but the dog she hates is Lola, who didn't give Jane a single glance when skipping into the bedroom.
The truth is they weren't really her dogs, they belonged to her best friend, Aqua. The one who never told her where she would be after all these weeks or so. Jane wished that Aqua could come back and at least take Lola back with her. She couldn't handle Lola's glares.
Speaking of the devil, Lola growled at her so Jane hissed back.
That was pretty much their relationship.
Stefano slept at the end of the bed, while Jane- well, never got any sleep.
~~
BEEP! BEEP!
Jane woke up, her eyes were pink, her head- pounding as usual.
Stefano jumped off the bed and yanked the covers off with his sharp teeth, the cold air hits her body which made her definitely wake up and more aware of her surroundings.
The aroma of freshly eggs and bacon and sausage made Jane immediately bolt up and run down the stairs, she was expecting her dad, but instead, Mr. Kevin, her bodyguard, stood in the kitchen, like always.
"Hey, rise and shine!"
Jane yarns and softly greeted back to him. She reaches for a bacon strip that was on a plate near the stove, Mr. Kevin's eyes caught her hand coming and smacked her hand with the bottom part of the spatula.
"OW!!!" Jane screeched as holding her hand near her, "WHAT THE HELL?!?" she yelled at him.
"Watch your language," he replies bluntly, putting another strip of bacon on the pan.
"Well, I'm sorry. There wouldn't have been 'no language' if you didn't smack me."
Mr. Kevin glares at her. He rose his spatula- Jane jumped back- and pointed it accusingly towards her.
"Don't get smart with me, young lady. Now take a shower and get dressed then eat your breakfast and lastly head to school. It's your first day."
"Ugh, I don't wanna," whined Jane.
"Go- Now!!" He turns back around frying the rest of the bacon.
Jane took one when Mr. Kevin wasn't looking, broke it in half, and fed one to Stefano and ate her half bacon.
"Asshole," Jane mumbled under her breath. Hopefully, Mr. Kevin didn't hear that. But when his head perked up, Jane made a run for it.
"JANE!" Her name roared throughout the house.
~~
Jane snickered and did what she had to do. Get dressed and then head to school. Let me make it official, the first day of hell, Jane thought.
The hot water hit her body, it didn't sting her skin. Then her mind roamed back to the nightmare. She thought about the dark-haired boy she saw in her dream. And some old lady that was smiling wickedly at her.
Now she was totally freaked out, but she had to put all of this in the back of her mind so it wouldn't mess her up later.
Jane got out of the shower, dried off with her towel then tying her wet hair into a messy bun. Stefano ran in circles, barking around as well and Jane got distracted.
"Stefano, get out!!"
He whimpers, "I love you, but get out, okay?" He didn't move, instead, he went to the dark corner and sat quietly.
She got dressed but her hair was still wet, so she dried it fast with the blow dryer. Jane left her room with Stefano following her, running down the stairs.
"Now, can I have breakfast?" Jane whined.
Her butler put on a thinking pose, "Mmm... Where are your shoes?"
"Oh, come on!!!"
"Blah, blah, blah, get your shoes, Heels whatever y'all wear to school these days," Mr. Kevin replied, his eyes glaring deep into Jane's soul.

Before Jane could even leave the house, her ''friend'' Diamond called her.
Her face expression of Diamond calling her, well, it was annoyed.
Yeah, she knows she said a friend like that, but it's the honest truth. Her "friends" only wanted to be friends with her because of Jane's father, the muti-billionaire- which Jane doesn't really know what he works for or even does for living.
"Yes, Diamond, what do you need?" She asked, sarcastically
"Can you pick me up?"
Jane got into the car, she rolled her eyes at the request and started the car.
"Don't you have a car?" she asked out of annoyance.
She could hear Diamond scoffing, "Yeah, but your's better."
"Then ride the bus."
"Oh, come on. I'll buy you McDonalds."
Jane's eyes lit up like stars, the word McDonalds blew her mind away. Jane had the urge to say no, but she was dying of hungriness. She knows she ate before she left the house. Well, better get used to that, she will eat up anything.
