chapter 11 (cont.)

Caitlyn's POV:
I hear knocking on my bedroom door and it creaks open a little. "Caitlyn...." a small voice says. "What." i reply. "Get up. We have to go somewhere today." I take a peak at my alarm clock. 6 AM!!!!! THEY REALLY EXPECT ME TO WAKE UP AT THE ASS CRACK OF DAWN TO GO SOMEWHERE?!?!? "No thanks. I'd rather sleep." i say and roll over once again. "Do you even know what day it is?" At this point, i realized Sophia is the one talking to me because now, she's not whispering. "Saturday."
"Bitch......check the date on your phone." Sophia says. I roll over in aggravation and check my phone. "It's March 11th. What's so special about--- ohhhhh shit. It's my birthday." I say. It's sad when you forget your own birthday. "How the fuck do you forget your own birthday?" Armando says. He walks throught the door and turns on the light. "THE LIIIIGGGHHHTTTT IM DYING WHAT THE FUCK DUDE!!??" i groan and cover my face. "Get your lazy ass up we're going to have fun today." Armando says. "Last time someone said that i ended up almost getting arrested" i reply sarcastically. "Just get up." He drops a bag on my bed and walks out along with Sophia. I sit up and look at the bag for a minute. "Too big to be a sketch book, too small to be a keyboard piano...." i say to myself as i grab the bag and take the tissue paper out. "Oh. Nice. Clothes. And it's the things i like as well." I pull out a purple flannel shirt, a black T-shirt, and some black skinny jeans. I smile to myself and jump up off the bed. I get in the shower, wash my hair and body, the usual stuff, then get out and put my new outfit on. I grab my black and white high top converse and put them on. I walk downstairs and everyone is laughing and joking around. "I see you're ready to go" Perla says. "Yep."

First, we go to the mall. We look around at some clothes and go to piercing pagoda. "Today, Caitlyn, is the day you finally get the lip piercing you want." Armando says. I smile but deep inside i'm nervous. I get the piercing, which hurt a lot, and we leave the mall. Next, we go to Sophia's house to pick up a few items. We hang out at a couple of friends' houses and then we leave. It's completely dark outside when we left Demarion's flat. We all split up and leave in 2 different cars; Demarion, Sophia, and Armando's boyfriend Lewis, go in one car, then me, Armando, and Perla, go in another car.

After what seems like forever, Armando parks the car. It's pitch black outside so i can't tell where we are. "Get out." Armando demands. Without hesitation, me and Perla get out of the car. Armando gets out after us and leads us away from the car. I look around to take in the surroundings. There's trees everywhere, no lights, the only light that we can even see is the light from the moon. As we walk further, theres light coming from ahead of us. And when i look closer, it makes me want to cry. Everybody made a camping type thing for us. There's lights hanging from the trees, illuminating everything around us. Sophia stands there and then says "surprise.." in a small high pitched voice. What even.... "So this is why you woke me up at 6 Am...to keep me busy!" i laugh "well yeah, it wouldnt have been a surprise if you knew about it." Sophia replies. She's extremely bubbly tonight; Which is typical for her, but She's a little too bubbly....
