Returning home

Today is the day. The day I go back to Ireland but more importantly back to Cian. I had planned this surprise for a while now, as last month both of us where to busy so we couldn't see each other. I just graduated from make up college, go me! I smiled as I looked out the window of the plane. Only a matter of minutes and I'll be back in Ireland. "Please fasten your seat belts we shall be landing in Dublin soon" the flight assistants voice was to be heard all around the plane. I quickly fastened my seatbelt and gripped hard onto the chair. Flying was not my cup of tea.

We landed in Dublin safely. I got my luggage and made my way out of the airport as fast as I could. I always hated airports. I don't like anywhere that's very loud and crowded. As I walked out of the airport the cold crisp air hit my face making me slightly shiver. I smiled, it felt good to be back home. My sister Deirdra was coming to pick me up. I scanned the car park for her car and eventually spotted it. I headed towards her car and saw her get out of the car with a huge smile on her face. "Jessica!" She beamed and pulled me into a hug. "Deirdra!" I hugged her back. "How are you? How was the flight?" She asked as she out my bags into the back of the car. "I'm good, the flight was ok" I said and she rolled her eyes. "You think after flying back and forth to see the lover boy himself you'd be used to it" she said as she got into the drivers seat. I sat into the passengers seat and out my safety belt on. "You know I hate flying in general" I said and she smiled. "I know dear I'm just messing with ya" she chuckled.

Deirdra dropped me off just a few houses before Cian's. I didn't want him to hear the car and ruin the surprise. I thanked Deirdra for the fifth time and she drove off. I walked and with every footstep felt myself getting more excited. After two months of not seeing Cian I'd finally see him again. All I wanted to do was be in his arms again. I stopped at the front door and took a deep breath. I left my bags down beside me and knocked on the door three times. I saw a figure through the blurry glass coming towards the door. The door opened and I was greeted by a very smiley Brendan. "Jessica" he smiled and hugged me. "Brendan" I hugged him back. "How are you?" Brendan asked as he helped me bring my bags in. "I'm great, how are you?" I asked as we walked through the hall. "I'm good, Cian's upstairs in the shower" he said.

I sat on the couch and chatted with Brendan. I missed them all so much. I heard rapid footsteps coming down the stairs and my heart started pounding. Cian walked into the room and his face lit up. "Jess!" He ran over to me and pulled me into the biggest hug ever. "Cian!" I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck. "I've missed you so much" he said. "I've missed you too" I said and he let me out of the hug. I kissed his lips and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I pulled away from the kiss and smiled. "Are you guys done with the lovey dovey stuff?" Brendan asked making Cian and I laugh. I hugged Cian again tightly and he buried his head into the crook of my neck. "I love you" Cian mumbled into my neck. "I love you too" I smiled.

I was lying on top of Cian while his hands where on my stomach. This is how we pretty much spent our afternoon. Brendan was also sitting on the couch while we watched some tv. "The lads are coming over later" Cian said quietly. "I've missed everyone so much" I said and Cian pulled me closer to him. "How long are you over for?" Cian asked. "Two days" I lied. I wanted to mess with him. "Are you serious?" He asked. "Yeah I have a new job and apartment over in London, Cian the apartment is amazing" I said trying not to laugh. Cian sat up and I frowned. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "Two days?" He said and I nodded. "Yeah, what's up?" I asked sitting on his lap and wrapping my arms around his neck. "I just thought I'd have more time with you" he said sadly making my heart melt. "It'll be ok you have a full year with me" I said. "Two days isn't enou--wait did you just say a full year?" He asked looking confused. "I graduated college and I'm staying here for a year" I smiled.

Cian's face was priceless. "I hate you" he groaned and pushed me off him. I started laughing and climbed on top of him only for him to push me off again. He finally stopped pushing me off and I was laying on top of him. He had his eyes shut and was smiling even though he was trying not to. "I love you" I said and he smiled. "I hate you" he said again laughing slightly. "You know you love me" I said poking his side. "Why would you mess with me like that?" He asked smiling with his eyes now open. "Because I wanted to see your reaction, which was super cute by the way" I said smirking. "Whatever" Cian rolled his eyes and I laughed. I pecked his lips.
