Sappy moments

There was a knock on the door. Cian nodded at me and I got up. I opened the door to see Dean, Josh, Ryan and Dayl. They all looked surprised to see me. I gave them all individual hugs and we headed back into the sitting room. Cian was now sitting upright in the couch to make room for everyone. I sat down next to Dayl who had taken the spot next to Cian. "So Jess, what brings you back to Ireland?" Ryan asked. "Well I graduated college and decided to take a year off" I said and they all seemed impressed. "Congrats bro" Dayl said nudging my shoulder making me slip off the couch. They all started laughing. "Whoops" Dayl said helping me up. "I'm not a 'bro' remember we had this conversation" I said as he helped me up. "Yeah I remember, you're a girl" Dayl said. "Yeah it's not that hard to understand" I said and Dayl laughed.

Instead of sitting back down on the couch I went into the kitchen and started looking through the cupboards. "Do you guys even buy food?" I asked looking into the sitting room. "Not really" Brendan shrugged. I rolled my eyes and grabbed one of Cian's hoodies. "Where are you going?" Cian asked as I grabbed my phone and purse. "To buy food so we don't starve" I said. I shoved my stuff into the pocket of my hoodie and Cian stood up. "I'm coming" he said and I smiled. "Do you guys want anything from the shop?" I asked the lads. "Food" Josh said as they stared at the to screen. "That's helpful" I muttered and Cian heard me. "Let's go" Cian said holding my hand.

We sat into the car. Cian said he'd drive so I sat into the passengers seat. "It's crazy isn't it?" Cian asked. "What is?" I asked. "That on Friday, it'll be two weeks until our two year anniversary" he smiled looking at me before putting his eyes back on the road. I smiled and nodded. "Yeah" I said as Cian intertwined our fingers. "Best two years of my life" he said. "I know graduating from college just made me so happy" I joked. "Oh you did not just ruin our little sappy moment" he said and I laughed. "Oh but I did" I chuckled.

"Fine, next time you want to go shopping drive yourself" he said pretending to tear up. "Are you going to give me money to shop cause then I'll gladly go alone" I said and he glared at me. "You're so mean to me" he frowned starring at the road in front of him. "Awh, I love you so much" I said as I started messing with his hair. "Yeah yeah" he said rolling his eyes. "Rude" I chuckled. "I love you more" Cian smirked. "We're definitely not playing this game now" I said running my fingers through his hair. "Stop your distracting me" Cian said trying to shoo my hand away. I frowned and sat down properly in my seat. Cian brought my hand up to his lips and kissed it.

As we walked through Tesco's doing our shopping Cian pushed the trolley while I out stuff into it. "Babe the trolleys basically full" Cian said as he watched me pile things on top of others. "That's because you got one of the small trolleys instead of a big one" I said as I looked at the selections of fruit. "You didn't specify what trolley you wanted" Cian said. "Almost done now" I said as I walked around.

Once we had the shopping paid for and packed it all into bags we carried them back to the car. Cian unlocked the car and we put all the bags in the back. "I'm hungry" Cian whined. "I guess a little trip to MC Donald's wouldn't hurt" I smiled.

We arrived home and it was getting late. Cian and I brought in the bags and left them on the counter top. "What took you so long?" Dean asked. "Yeah we're starving" Brendan said. "Shopping takes a long time" I said. "It's not like we stopped for food or anything" Cian said making it obvious that we did. "Where did you eat?" Dayl asked. "MC Donald's" Cian said. They started to have a little 'moment' for themselves and fight about why we didn't bring any MC Donald's home. I rolled my eyes and started putting away the groceries.

Once they where all put away I put on some mince and made the lads some spaghetti bolognese. I felt two arms wrap around my waist while I stirred the spaghetti. "I've missed you" Cian said laying his chin on my shoulder. "Well I'm here now" I said turning around to face him. "And I couldn't be happier" Cian said before pecking my lips. "Enough of the PDA thanks" Dayl said pretending to puke. "You jealous?" I asked him making Cian laugh. "I am not" Dayl said plopping down on the couch. I rolled my eyes playfully and kissed Cian. I pulled away from the kiss and finished making the lads food.

I flopped onto the bed and sighed. "What's up?" Cian asked as he laid down next to me. "I'm tired" I shrugged. "How was the flight today?" He asked. "Not good" I frowned. "You hate flying but you insist on a window seat" Cian raised his eyebrows. "At least then I can see that the plane isn't going down" I said and Cian rolled his eyes. I got up and got changed into some pj pants and a tank top. "We have rehearsals tomorrow" Cian said as he took his top off. I couldn't help but stare at his toned stomach. "I was wondering if you wanted to come along?" He asked. "I would love too, but I should probably unpack" I said and he nodded. Cian got under the sheets next to me and pulled me close to him. "I love you" Cian said kissing my lips gently. "I love you too" I smiled. "Goodnight" Cian said as I laid my head against his chest. "Goodnight" I whispered.
