Chapter 5: Hypocritical

"You want us to stay here? With Noah." Teresa asked with a sneer. Arms crossing over her chest she looked at her sister with a look of hell no.

"Teresa why must you be so stubborn. You know as well as me that we both always had more liking to the Noah family than we did to our family. Especially with that woman in charge now." Dominique argued as she grabbed her sisters hands and made her uncross them. "You remember him right? The man you-"

"Don't EVER mention him in this again... The Earl is the reason he's dead." Teresa growled sharply before having a hand to her sisters neck. "... I won't ever see him again."

"But maybe you can. I heard what happened after his death. Please just trust me... I'll have you meet him again, Teresa... When Have I ever let you down, little sis?" Dominique pleaded before moving her sisters hand from her neck.

Terrence frowned a bit, "... Are you talking about mama's first lover?" he asked softly before glancing at his mothers pained face. That part of her life was a very sensitive topic...

"... Trust me okay?... I'll have you see him again... And I'm sure he would love to see you again." Dominique smiled before hugging her sister tightly. "Its been 35 years now... I know.. But with us.. Almost anything is possible remember?" She whispered. "So please stay?"

Teresa was silent, her eyes hidden by her bangs. But after some silence, the woman slowly wrapped her arms around her sisters waist and nodded. "Fine... But if you can't keep up your end of the promise... I'll snap you in half..." She swore brokenly. The thought of seeing her lover, even if just once more, just for a few moments... She'd die contently.

Terence smiled a bit at his mom and Tia. A small smile but a smile nonetheless. He couldn't wait to see how things unfolded. And he begged whoever chose them to become Judas, that just this once-his mother could have a happy ending.

Meanwhile in the next room, Tyki sat in a chair with his head in his hands. Dominique fell into his life again. He couldn't help.the relieved sigh that left his lips as he realized they would never have to fight against each other again. The thought of them talking like before made his heart clench with anticipation. The thought of him getting to see her everyday like before was making his heart beat a million miles per second. He never realized how much he actually missed the magician of his past.

"How are you feeling about this, Tyki-pon?~" The millennium Earl asked with that eternal grin on his face. He didn't expect Tyki to come home early, nor did he expect himself to tell Tyki till all arrangements were made. He did not want to harm Tyki's mentality and have a repeat of what happened in the Ark with the Walker boy.

".... I really want her to stay Earl..." Tyki admitted as his fingers laced in his hair. "But do I have the right to wish something like that?... I was so upset with her not telling me, I hypocritically forgot I had done the same to her by not telling her I was a Noah." He mumbled.

"... You both lied, go figure~"

Tyki looked up at the voice and saw as his niece and nephew walked down the hall and towards him. Road has spoken first.

"If you both really have feelings for each other, I feel like she's the type to overlook that if it means she gets to be with you." Road stated as she lapped at the lollipop in her hand. They glanced at the Earl though. They hadn't seen the new Judas but heard the commotion.

"... Do you really think so?" Tyki asked lightly before looking down at himself and leaning his head back on the chair. Not to have been conceited, but he was a good looking man, Noah or not. But he knew Dominique, or at least the persona of Domino she adopted, very well. And knew it would take more than looks for her.

"..." They all looked down the hall as they heard three pairs of footsteps making their way towards them. And the sight made Road drop her candy and Wisely's eyes to widen a fraction, trying hard to conceal his surprise. That Judas behind Dominique, the one that held her hand. It couldn't be...

Dominique walked down smiling at Teresa behind her, whom held her hand like a lost child. Walking beside the two was Terrence, a smile similar to Wisely's own casual one, on his face with his hands in his pockets.

"... Road you okay? You dropped you lollipop. Is something wrong?" Tyki asked suspicious of her actions. Reaching down and picking up the dropped candy by the stick and set it on the table beside him that held a lamp. Picking up the piece and placing them there as well.

Road took a breath before looking back at her uncle and smiled, "I just thought of something is all. They are all really pretty y'know?" She smiled her best smile at him, trying to drive him away from asking anything about it further.

Tyki bought it, too consumed with his own thoughts, and only nodded his head in agreement. "Yea... Dominique is the prettiest though..." The last part spoken absently and quieter though didn't help at all as all three Noah heard his words.

The trio of Judas finally walked up to the Earl, Dominique giving him a straight face.

"Have you made your decision?~" The earl asked as he glanced at Wisely and Road.

"We've chosen to stay... But... Helping... We need more time to think about it... And need to converse it with Alicia once she wakes up." Dominique stated.

"I see. That's not a problem at all~ Thank you for staying with us, please, you can head back go your room. Beds and a room will be prepared for your two family members right away." The earl bowed a bit before looking at Tyki.

Dominique followed his gaze and bit her lip.

Teresa didn't look up from the floor and instead just pushed her sister towards whatever direction she looked then looked away before seeing Tyki. "Just make up already damnit." She growled.

Dominique stumbled a bit at the push and nearly fell onto the floor, if Tyki hadn't stood and caught her in his arms a bit.

"Still a little clumsy are you?" Tyki asked with a small teasing smile.

"Shut up.. I am not clumsy... Just not very well coordinated when pushed." Dominique protested with a pout. Silently thanking him for catching her and leaning on him a bit as she stood a but more properly now. His cologne... I'd almost forgotten how good it smelled... She absently thought before closing her eyes. And he's still warm... So warm... The thought added before she gripped his sleeves just a bit. She missed it... A lot...
