The echoing footsteps bring Jonas's eyes to flicker open. What the hell had happen? Jonas sighs as he swings his legs out of bed, his hand brushing his hair that fell in front of his face. Then it hit him incredibly hard in the head when the smell of Wolfsbane hits him, it makes him start to feel overwhelmed his body, making his heart feel extremely heavy. The attack! The girls!

The sudden click of the door makes his growls slowly visible, he sees the slight peep of brown hair peeping through the crack of door as it slowly opens. A darkened silhouette of a female comes into the light, she comes from behind blurring her features.

"You're awake!" A familiar voice says with excitement.

Hailee. He was pretty sure her name was.

"Clearly. Where's America and Dahlia." His demands makes her laugh a little , as she walks in she swings towards the bed to the closet as she gets out something from her little private space.

"Dahlia is probably with Damian... Who knows what they're up to and poor America fell into the lake when she was on her walk with... Xavier." She says as she examines a glass tube, grabbing a needle the size of her hand of the table.

"I'm off to her now, you can come along if you want?" Jonas carefully offers as he waves towards the door, although he seemed reluctant though because something seemed off he just couldn't put his finger on it.

"What happened with the attack though?" He asks putting everything he had just said aside, his eyes drifting to her as he gets onto his feet.

"Oh, I think they had decided to retrieve after the other packs started fighting back, I mean that's what America told us before she left with Xavier." Her tone was a bit hesitant lately.

"Right." Jonas says, his hands running through his hands as he watched her every move with a careful eye. Everything seemed normal, she wasn't flinching, her heart beat seemed to be steady and she was acting pretty normal or so it seemed. He also wanted to call bullshit both sides just stopped fighting.

"This way," She says nodding her head out the door, as Jonas followed quietly in her footsteps.

"How was it like as a rogues in the wild?" Hailee asks out of the blue. Well way to make conversation, he thought.

"When I had my family it felt like everything was going to be fine, but I guessed I was being too ahead of myself." Jonas says as the memories come flooding back.

"But when they died, all my dreams vanished and it was like I was the needle in a hay stack." He spoke, shrugging it off like it was nothing. He was probably just overloading his mind with what has happened in the past days, like Hailee would probably be the last person to harm the girls

"Oh..." Her voice trailed off as he searched for the right words to say but nothing came out in the awkward silence.

"Yeah..." He sighs taking out a cigarette. He flicked on his zippo lighter and it bursts with a small flame. He lights it as he inhales slowly. His system responding to the smoke and he felt his lungs being wrapped in a warming blanket. Taking small and slow drags of the cigarette, the addiction making him feel like heaven all the time. He knew it was bad as America usually scolded him all the time but who cares werewolves can't get sickness.

Hailee slightly scrunched up her nose at the smell as he puffs out a swarm of smoke. Jonas rolls his eyes as they reach the door not knowing what's to come. A scream is heard just slightly from the distance but his hearing still picked it up, making his eyes snap a yellow.

His head flicks in the other direction from where the scream was indefinitely getting louder.

"What was that?!"
