I went to sleep that night happy unlike all my others nights. I still can't believe dexter asked me to teach him guitar and drums. When he asked me to teach him it was so sensational, I was complete and I felt like fainting. Finally that Saturday came, I woke up so early so I could spray paint my drum kit blue because they were an awful pink, and I absolutely hate that colour. I'm not a girl that likes pink. My colours are usually dark.
I knew that I had a few hours and they would dry in one. When they were finally blue. I ran to my room and tidied it, then I got dressed into my rock outfit (black shorts, laddered tights, and an epic blue t-shirt, also my rockalicious black boots) with my black hair it gave me a edgy look and I liked it. Dexter finally came over and he asked "what we would be doing first". "
I told him that we would be doing electric guitar first". I taught him the song "so what" by pink and "work" by Rihanna. He did surprisingly well. Then we went onto drums and dexter thought I was rad and epic for being so musical. At the beginning he said I looked like a rock star, I thanked him a lot and then we went on to guitar.
Drums was epic, I didn't realise dexter was so good at the drums. He was able to do all of my hardest beats, like James bond mission impossible, and so what by pink, both really hard beats. So I tried to find out the truth. I asked him "why he plays as well as me", dexter didn't respond, I asked again and told him to respond now. After more drum playing, he finally told me, "He was so good because he got in as a music scholar for drums, guitar and piano". I was so surprised because I never thought that you could be popular and musical.
So I asked him "how can you be a music scholar and be in the popular group". I thought that he wasn't going to tell me but he did, he remarked that "britney and him both got scholar ships, when they were dating, britney got a sports scholarship and he got a music one. They carried on dating and he became the music freak and she became the cheerleader's captain. They stopped dating for a month but he guessed that she missed him and then they started dating again". I sighed that was so sad and I hated britney even more than before. I fell in love with dexter so much in that moment. he was the only thing that mattered in my life. at the very moment.
