I look around the dark, cave like place searching for some way to escape... Anything like a shrivel of light... or a crack in the wall. So far I have seen nothing that is of any importance.
How long have I been here? A few hours feels like a million years. Jack had drifted off to sleep earlier today... or is it tonight...?

All of the sudden I hear a soft cackle ring out. "Pitch..." I say quietly "Is it you..." "Yes.. MY DEAR..."
I look all around me for a face instead of a voice. No where one is to be found.. "LET ME GO!" I scream ''Don't you know who I am?" He asked "No..." I reply shakily.
"I AM THE FEAR THAT FOLLOWED YOU FOR THE 13 YEARS YOU NEGLECTED YOUR SISTER..
I AM THE NIGHTMARES THAT WOKE YOU UP AT NIGHT! I AM FEAR ITSELF!"
I mumble so quietly the phrase that helped me go to sleep at night the years I ignored the presistant knocks on the door from my sister... The years I neglected myself...
"WHAT WAS THAT DEAR?"
I mumble a little louder this time.
"WHAT????"
This time my anger festers and causes me to scream with all my might. "THE ONLY THING TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF!" I pause "BUT I'M NOT AFRAID OF YOU! YOUR NOT WORTH MY TIME YOU COWARD!"
Finally he replies... with a stab in my stomach. I can see him now... smiling as the blood drips from my wound. Then the light slowly fades...
