"Hey hottie" Emily said seductively to a shirtless tan guy running down the beach. He nodded his chin to Emily in response. Yeah, Emily was "that" friend. The flirts with every guy she passes friend, hooks up with every guy at the party friend. As the day got later, it was almost dark. They walked to the little beach party store and got ICEES. They paid for them and walked out the door. Emily went first and trailing behind Hanna was not two steps out the door when she felt something cold. Like, really cold. She looked down and saw her cherry ICEE all over her white tank top. "I'm so sor-" "forget it" Hanna interrupted storming off in Emily's direction. Stifling a laugh, Emily grabbed some napkins and helped Hanna clean up while walking back to the house.
The next morning Hanna and Emily packed their beach bags and walked to the "Beachfront Diner" in the tiny downtown. After ordering Emily and Hanna fell into deep conversation. They had so much planned for the summer.
Swim with dolphins, go kayaking, meet some hot life guards, get tan
Those were just some of the things they had scribbled into Hanna's journal a few days before they had left. "We're totally gonna meet some hotties this summer" Emily rambled on. Instead of responding to Emily's visions of hot guys, Hanna was distracted, she heard a familiar voice. After breakfast was eaten and the bill was paid they walked out of the restaurant. "Hey! Hey you!" Hanna turned around. Me? "Um I'm Brent I think I spilled a slurpee on you yesterday and I'd love to make it up to you?" "Um yeah I'm Hanna , I didn't like that shirt anyways". He slipped her a napkin with his phone number, smiled and walked away. Hanna wandered back to Emily, who was looking into the window of a boutique next door, quite confused about what just happened. " Hey Han who's the hottie?"
