"Oi get up" I opened my eyes to be blinded by the sun, "hm" was all I could get out of my sore/dry throat. "We're here you'll need to get off my lap" I realized that I was still snuggled up in Levi's chest and I looked up at him then to the ground "how do I get off the horse, I'm to small compared to this animal" "don't worry sweetheart, I will help you" I looked to the side to see a woman who had a crazy grin and glasses. She opened her arm's in a welcoming manner and grabbed me, I wrapped my legs around her waste and my arm's around her neck "hey sweetie what's your name mines is Hanji" she said rubbing my back through my blood stained white and black dress "y/n, y/n l/n" her smile got even bigger if possible "what a lovely name, so y/n tell me how would you like living in the Survey Corps" I raised an eyebrow "won't I just get in the way, I mean since I am a child" Hanji shook her head no, "of course not,you seem like a well behaved little girl" I glared at her "haven't you ever heard of 'don't judge a book by it's cover'" she looked at me a little wide-eyed from the sassy in my voice. "Oi give me my brat back" Hanji giggled "your brat huh, are you going soft on us" I heard a grumble as I was yanked out of Hanji's arm's and was buried into Levi's. I hummed and buried my head into his chest listening to the thumping of his heart, it was a calming heartbeat like my mother's. "Levi we should get her something else to wear, I mean the poor girl is drenched in her mother's blood " he looked at me and I looked at him, "don't give me parenting advice" Levi then walked off with me in his arms."You sure told her" Levi raised an eyebrow at me, "oh yeah" I nodded and mumbled a small 'yeah'. "Okay brat do you know how to bathe yourself" I nodded once again. "Good" I thought for a bit letting my mind wonder, "hey uh..Levi,what rank are you in the military,a-and is the food here good, oh and will I finally get my own room,and-" he stopped me mid rant "oi brat calm down, first of all I'm a Corporal" I quickly saluted he kissed his teeth and smirked. "The food here is ok, and yes you'll get a room....next to mines" I smiled as we came to a stop;"ok brat get your shower call me when you're done, I leave you a towel and we'll have to go look for clothing for you", once he left I got into the shower.

"Hey mister Levi I'm done" I had my towel sloppy wrapped around me,"ok brat.....I'm going to need Hanji's help aren't I" I looked at him confused then realized I'm a ten year old girl and he's like what 25 give a take.
(pretend that Levi found a time machine to make him young again)

"HANJI" the crazy lady from before came running in with a long shirt and some shrunken underwear. "I thought this may happen so I grabbed one of my shirts and some underwear I shrunk while washing it" Hanji said placing the torn up red shirt and white underwear down in front of me. "Thanks ma'am" Hanji ruffled my hair and left along with Levi. "I'll wait outside brat" I nodded and started to get dressed, after he shut the door of course. As soon as I walked out I was lead to my bedroom. "Good night" "good night Levi have sweet dreams" he nodded his head and left.

~time skip~

*BOOM* I sat up and looked to the window to see it raining. Tearing up at the thoughts of the events of the other day I ran to Levi's room."Levi, Levi, Levi get up the titans are gonna eat me". I heard a grumble as I tugged on his sleeve "ugh no there not brat you're in the safety of the walls, go back to bed" I shook my head even though he could not see me through his closed eyes. "B-but I'm really scared" he sighed as he sat up,"come here brat" he said opening his arms. I climbed onto the bed and rested my head on his chest,"you'll be alright brat as long as I walked this earth nothing can get to you" I smiled and snuggled into his chest. "Good night for real this time brat" "good night Levi".
