a Night to Remember

It's been about a week since the black dragon and a week since you saw that little girl's soul get taken away. But tonight was a night to put that all behind you. Tonight was the night the academy was founded.

"Hey sis aren't you going to dance or eat?Or something?"Jaden says putting his hand on your shoulder.

"I-I don't know maybe later?"You say with a depressed face.

"Okay. If you need me I wont be to far away."He says with a concerned face.Your brother wasn't always one to socialize with people he was a little shy but I guess that changed after awhile.

You stand there looking out of a balcony in your beautiful (f/c) dress that goes to your knees. You left your hair down and put a hairband on.You stand there looking at the town. Suddenly someone taps you on the shoulder. You turn around to see Soul.

"Hey Soul."You say facing him.

"Hey (Y/N).Can I hang out?" Soul says with a smile

"Of course Soul."You say with a smile.

"Welcome to the gala have a good time eat,sing,dance,do the hokey pokey ."Lord Death says putting up a peace sign.

Everyone in the room clapped and the music began.You looked to your left to see Jaden dancing with Maka he was spinning her and dipping.Who knew your brother could dance.

"Ahem all. May I have your attention? Today at this gala we celebrate the found of the academy which is very dear to most of our hearts. I Death the Kid would like to say a few words. We all know the mission of the school it's to maintain peace and order in this world."Kid says with a confident look on his face.

"YAHOO! It's me people the one and only Black Star!"Black star says hanging from the curtains and interrupting Kid.

"That's it why you!" Kid says fighting Black Star.

You and Soul laugh until Black Star walks over to you.

"That jerk! Who's party does he think this is."Black Star says with scars and bruises on his face.

"Um Black Star you do know it's not yours right?" You say holding onto Souls arm.

"Pfft. Whatever." Black Star says walking over to all the food Tsubaki got him.

You and Soul stand at the balcony. You lay your head on his shoulder.

"Hey guys. Are you going to eat?"Maka says holding a plate in her hand.

"Nah we're good. We don't want to wait in a line for some fancy food. Besides this isn't really our thing."Soul says leaning against the railing of the balcony.

"You're missing out guys this stuff is amazing.'Maka says eating a bite.

"Fine then give us some of yours." You say with a smile.

"Nope." She says holding the fork in her hand.

"Food hog." Soul grumbles.

"Lately it seems like something has been eating at you guys is everything alright?" Maka says putting her plate on the railing.

"We're fine Maka."You and Soul say in unison.

"So that's how it is. You think i'm an unreliable partner don't you? If so then maybe you should just partner up with (Y/N)."Maka grumbles.

"You said it not me." Soul says laughing his head off.

"Whatever!You're not so great!" Maka says while she hits Soul on the head."I'm going to go dance with Jaden." Maka says walking away.

"Hold it right there!"Spirit says with a smile."Come dance with your papa!" He says jumping in the air with excitement.

"No way!"Maka say tearing Spirit's world to shreds.

"To bad!" Spirit says dragging Maka to the dance floor

"Soul guard my food !"Maka yells as she gets dragged away by her perverted weirdo father.

"Hmm. She want's me to guard her food yet she wouldn't share any."Soul says in a calm voice."What is she doing getting raw fish? Maka can't stand raw fish." Soul says with a confused tone to his voice.

"I think it's for you Soul."You say with a smile.

"Heh. I don't need help from her. Hey (Y/N) aren't you going to eat?"Soul says putting food in his mouth.

But before you could answer your father comes up to you.

"May I dance with my daughter?" Stein says holding out his hand. You could tell he had something important to tell you.

"Yeah papa of course. I'll be back in a bit Soul"You say taking his hand.

"You're a clever girl (Y/N).There's an immortal a witch and a frog on academy grounds they're trying to revive the kishin. Your mother is telling your brother. So for now act like nothing is happening we want to avoid a panic Lord Death already knows so does Spirit."Your father explained. You nod your head and returned to Soul.

"The town looks so pretty at night. I love the way the lights look in the dark."You say looking down at the town that you were born and raised in. It scared you to think if you didn't defeat the kishin it would all be gone. Tears rolled down your face from the thought. Soul noticed and wrapped his arms around you.

"(Y/N). What's wrong?"Soul say holding you in his arms.

"N-nothing."You say gripping his shirt. Tears fell rapidly. What a great job keeping it calm.You thought to your self. You finally stopped crying .

"If something is bothering you then just tell me okay? It isn't cool to keep secrets."He says with a sharky-grin.

"I'm fine Soul thanks for asking." You say wiping the tears off your face.

You look at the dance floor once more. 

"What is he doing..?"You say watching Spirit drag Medusa onto the dance floor. Then it hit you. She's a witch. You tried so hard to keep your anger in.

"Hey (Y/N) wanna dance?" Soul says putting his hand out.

"Sure." You say putting your hand in his.

But before you guys got onto the dance floor.Sid appeared! You all rushed over to him.

"Everyone run! This is the day they've been waiting for when lord death leaves the mirrors and all the students and teachers are in one place!"Sid says.

Suddenly the ground started to shake.You almost fell over put thankfully Soul caught you in his arms.
