Starry Skies (King x Reader) || Seven Deadly Sins

You hung out around the Boar Hat quite often, and seemingly stalked wherever it would show up next. After a few visits you started talking with King, both of you sharing a few common interests. One day you decided to invite King to go stargazing with you near a lake where the water shined with the stars.

"(Y/N), I'm here." You heard King's quiet voice speak from behind from where you say at the water's edge.
"Oh! Hi, King. Come sit with me and then we can watch the pretty sky." You looked over at him and smiled, he gave a small blush in response. King lowered himself down to the ground, sitting on top of the lush grass.

You both sat there in silence for awhile, you staring up at the sky with your (S/C) lips partly open in awe at the gorgeous sight. King's blush grew, as he wasn't looking at the stars but at you. As engulfed in the stars as you were, you didn't notice him staring.

"(Y/N)?" His voice shook you out of your small daze, your attention quickly moving over to him.
"Yeah?" You tilted your head, causing your (H/L), (H/C) hair to move as well.
"O-oh, um nothing." King meekly spoke, burying his face in Chastiefol. You shrugged and looked back up at the stars.

This really wasn't going how you planned, but at least you two were close together without the others being around. Plus you counted this as a date, and so did King. So there you two sat, under the starry sky, with your pinkies wrapped around each other with just the wind and wildlife breaking the comfortable silence.
