"Oh my gosh, you've got to be kidding me!" Hannah hissed once we were out of the Calculus classroom, pulling my arm down and digging her nails into my soft-fleshed arm. "Our new teacher is gorgeous!"

I cringed and pulled my arm out of her tight grip, taking a good five steps away from the classroom doorway. "Come on, Hannah," I said matter-of-factly. "He's what, atleast 25 years old?"

"That's the point!" she exclaimed excitedly.

I lifted an unimpressed eyebrow at who was presumably my best friend, although I have to admit I had no idea what I was thinking in 7th grade when I let her sit in the seat beside me at lunch. At the time, she was 5 years younger, and frankly, she seemed much more friendly in the school uniform we had to wear in middle school.

"I wish all the girls in our class would be ugly so that he'd have his eyes on me the whole time." she added dreamily, tugging me towards my locker, which just happened to be beside the teacher's lounge.

"Ugh," someone said behind me. I nearly jumped out of my skin, startled. Who did I think it would be, anyways? Mr. Stone? Well, there could be a very possiblity that it was him, considering he could be exiting the teacher's lounge, but no way could he have made it there before me and Hannah had arrived at my locker.

It happened to be Sebastian Cole, the type of friend you have when you have no one to talk to, or your best friend is gone. Sort of like a substitute friend, Seb Cole was friendly with everyone. Most of the school knew him since the first day of our freshman year when he accidentally busted the water fountain causing it to spurt up at random times and spray you in the face if you happened to be passing by. It was in fact an accident; he was drinking water from the water fountain, but pressed the button to hard, making it stuck and causing it to spurt up at random times.

After the whole water fountain experience, Sebastian was known as the class clown of the entire grade, and still has. His position of class clown was almost stolen, though, when a new boy entered in the middle of 10th grade and just happened to claim he was having an affair with Mrs. Sacco, our principal, which, I should say, earned him a few laughs and a ton of 'Score!' or other perverted comments from guys, but also a huge punishment which resulted in getting expelled.

And that whole memory, of course, only added to my top however-many reasons student and teacher love is ridiculous. It only happens in books, for once, very strict, unrealistic books, and frankly, it's quite illegal.

Another exclamation from Hannah interjected between my thoughts. She happened to be in a deep discussion about Mr. Stone with Seb, so I must've zoned out for a few minuted.

"...omigosh, yeah! I know! I totally saw it!" Sebastian drawled with mock excitement, apparently making fun of Hannah's comments about how Mr. Stone's muscles rippled when he lifted the stacks of heavy textbooks I had piled up and handed them out. Although, as if by miracle, there were 3 desks short, so the people who shared desks with others also shared their textbooks, saving me from getting humiliated by Mr. Stone infront of the whole class.

Glaring at Sebastian, Hannah puffed out her chest and crossed her arms. "Ha ha," she said, narrowing her eyes. "You're just being bitter, Seb, because you're not a girl and can't drool over Mr. Stone without being accused of being gay."

Seb rolled his eyes in response. "Come on, Hannah. Your crush on Mr. Stone is so inappropriate. You know it's illegal for a teacher and a student to be in a relationship."

"Yeah, but, Seb, that's..."

The conversation faded away as I turned to spin the combination on my locker and swyng it wide open, peering through it for my schedule.
