Setting: School.
POV // 3rd Perspective

Rei would walk to the school bus that he took by himself, as always, until he heard someone rushing behind him. "Hey babe." Oreki would call out, "Don't call me that! We're not dating, okay.." Rei would whisper to Oreki looking around frantically to see if anyone heard. "Don't worry, damn." Oreki would sign rolling his eyes. He'd pat Rei's head and rubbed it into a mess. "I hate when you do that.." Rei would mutter under his breath, feeling heat crawling up his neck as is face got red as ever.

As the bus arrived, both Oreki and Rei walked in to a bus filled with people exchanging looks, giggles, and whispers about them. Some of them didn't even let them sit where they always sit, so they had to sit in the front of the bus. "What the hell is going on," said Oreki, trying to hide himself from the people staring. As the talking grew louder an unfamiliar voice shouted: "Why don't you two kiss already.. Gay lords!" Rei would look down with his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but for Oreki, he didn't stand this and took the plain for himself. He got up from his chair and walked over to the kid that said so and punched him straight in the middle of the eyes. He'd do this over and over until Rei went behind him and tackled his arms. "It's not worth it!" He'd say with a worried expression in his voice. Oreki would stop in place like a dead man as Rei gulped in fear and stepped back. Oreki would look back at Rei with his hands bloody and a little no for good bully shivering in pain...

POV // 3rd Perspective // Focused on Rei

As Rei walked to his other class alone he was met up with tough bullies that blocked his way. He had seen these guys walk by him and bullied other kids but never looked to bother Rei, which questioned him and frightened him deeply. He would apologize and tried to get out of their way but got pushed back by the leader of the group. Rei would stumble to his butt and blushed as other kids stopped in place to watch. "We found you're little diary outside next to the bushes; you want it back?" The leader would say in a jaunty, rude way. "Give it back! It's not yours!" Rei would get up from the cold floor and wiped off the invisible dirt from his back. The other kids watching exchanged looks and whispers. "Why? You don't want to reveal your secret about your little boyfriend!" The other kid would say to the left of the leader. "Stop!" Rei would try to take the book from the boys hand, but missed and stumbled as the bully lifted it higher. He would continue as everyone laughed at Rei's lack of toughness made him look weak. A tear would go down Rei's face until Oreki came from the crowd and moved him aside. "Oh, here comes Rei's little prince to save him!" The bully would laugh, followed by his two friends. Oreki would crack his neck, "Never talk to him like that you f!cking assholes!" He'd run up to them throwing a punch at the big guy and hitting him straight at the face uppercutting him up into the jaw. He would fall down holding his hands up, making a posture that his friends were allowed to strike back. Both of them rushed into him, hitting in swings. A couple made it but it wasn't so strong, but through Rei's unfocused vision from tearing up he looked to see that Oreki would be winning but got hit a few times. Why would he do this for me, he thought, why did he risk his well being for me? Rei would realize how stupid he looked and ran away, rushing from the crowd. As the bullies laid on the floor with the security holding back Oreki from causing more damage, with tears on his face, Rei didn't stop no matter what and ran over to the dorm rooms to where he can hide.
