{The night I dreamt about my parents dying}

"Good night mum. Goodnight Nan. Goodnight daddy." I smiled as I hugged them goodnight.

I walked up to my room and hopped into my fluffy Queen sized bed after brushing my teeth and combing my hair.

I was very comfortable and almost asleep when I started to sweat and I began to breathe heavily.

"Oh no." I was gonna have another dream. Not tonight.

I hadn't had another dream/vision thing in 4 months. Why has it recently come back? I just want it to go away. The last one I remember was of Kyle breaking up with me. Which happened. Just like I knew it would wether I wanted it to or not.

I kept thinking about what my dream could be about.

•Not graduating.

•Needing braces for the rest of my life. (Ok that one was sort of ridiculous.)

Before I knew it. I was living the dreaded dream I was nervous to receive.

{the dream}

"Where's Brent?" My mother asked me.

"I don't know. Went to a party or something I think?" I answered as I continued to read 'The fault in our stars'.

"Well we need to go get him."

"Can I stay here mum?"

She sighed.

"Ok, your father and I will be back in a bit."

"K bye."

"I love you." She said.

"Mhm." I answered back. Too engrossed into my book to respond.

|one hour later|

I had just finished my book. But my parents hadn't come home yet.

I tried my mums cell but she didnt pick up. I phoned Brent. He answered and there was a lot of shouting in the background.

"Hello?!" He shouted.

I held the phone away from my ear.

"Did mum and dad come get you yet?" I asked.

"Hold on. Lemme go outside so I can hear you!" He shouted.

I heard rummaging around and footsteps on the other line. At least he was still sober.

"K I'm back." He confirmed.

"I said. Did mum and dad come get you yet?"

"What?! They know I left?!" He basically screamed.

"Yeah. They were coming to pick you up. But that was an hour ago." I rolled my eyes.

"Well they aren't here."

"K." I hung up.

This isn't good.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.

I ran down the stairs and threw the door open, in hopes that my parents would be on the other side. But they weren't. It was the police.

"Are you Jessibelle Carter? Daughter of Keith Carter and Jenna Carter?" He asked in a serious voice.

"Yes." I said a tears brimming my eyes. I knew what was coming. I just didn't want to admit it.

"I'm sorry to inform. But you're parents were in a tragic accident on Flipit bridge."
