“What…do you mean, otou-san?”
“Stop playing innocent, you ungrateful pest. They saw the two of you. The people saw you with that greasy boy again.”

“DIDN’T I TELL YOU TO NEVER TALK TO HIM AGAIN?”
Sakura trembled, fear rushing right through her.
“Fujikata! Stop it! Don’t be too harsh on Sakura!” Nadeshiko quickly cut him off. “Please. Yelling will do no good…”
The room fell silent.
Fujikata threw one last glare at the two of them, before storming off.
Sakura could feel a sting in her eyes, and the next thing she knew, tears rolled down her cheeks. “Okaa…” she whispered.
The woman hugged her soothingly. “Hush hush. Everything’s going to be alright dear. I’ll talk to him. Don’t worry…”
But the tears won’t stop.
Sakura couldn’t bring herself to forget the look her father gave her.
