"What are you saying? You think I'd throw away our friendship just because of a guy?" she said looking at you as if you just said the stupidest thing ever. And maybe you just did. "Dude, I'd choose my friend any time over a guy I hardly know!"

She laughed. You were such an idiot to even think that your friend might've been mad at you for dating Nijimura Shuzo because she liked him too.

"I'm so stupid, aren't I?" you laughed with her.

"At times, you really are," she smirked. Maybe she wasn't in too deep yet...

You were just glad that she wasn't like those girls that would throw away their friendship for a guy. After all, she was the one who cheered you on when you felt like giving up on your relationship with Shuzo.

"Are you seriously going to give up now?! Nijimura is basically one of a kind, your loss if you let him go!"

You wanted to laugh at yourself for even thinking about giving up on Shuzo.

"I'll be back for you," were Shuzo's last words. You didn't stop contacting each other after he left. And today was the day that he's coming back.

"Don't forget how to breathe," your friend jokingly said.

"I'll try," you replied absent-mindedly. It just didn't feel real. After a few years of struggling with your long-distance relationship with Shuzo, he's finally coming back. You won't need to get so anxious about whatever could be happening to him again. There wouldn't be more sleeplees nights because as much as you didn't want to doubt his loyalty to you, you couldn't help but be clouded with doubts at times...

Nijimura Shuzo is coming back... Today!

"Oh my gosh, can you slap m--" your friend had slapped you even before you could finish your sentence.

"You are not dreaming, okay?" she said placing a hand on your shoulder.

"Okay," you nodded.

"Hey, _____, know what?" Shuzo had said in one skype call. He looked excited. Whatever he was going to say, you were sure it was good news.

"What?"

"I'm going back to Japan next week," he said excitedly. You just stared at him not believing what he just said. No words even came out of your mouth as too much happiness overwhelmed you. Just what were you going to do when he does come back?

"Hey, aren't you happy?" he asked worry evident in his voice. Shuzo looked so bothered that time that you wanted to laugh. Well of course you didn't.

"Sorry, I just... I'm so happy I don't know what to say," you replied, "Like, you're finally coming back that I won't have to miss you too much everyday because you'll finally be here,"

"Oh..."

You couldn't control your excitement. Finally. Shuzo will be back.

No words could express just how happy you were when you finally saw him. You would've ran towards him and hugged him tight had you not just been so stunned with the fact that Nijimura Shuzo came back... For you.
