Chapter 5

Alexa's POV

Me: She is okay right?

Nurse: well.... in the x-rays it says that Valentina has Scoliosis.

Josh: what is that Scoliosis thing?

Nurse: so Scoliosis is an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine.

Then Eddie couldn't not understand what the nurse said so i had to tell him that it meant that Valentina's spine was curved instead of straight. When i looked at Valentina she looked at me like she was confused. She asked the nurse how did she got that Scoliosis. Then her mom came in. The nurse asked her if she was Valentina's mom Alice. She said yes. Then she told Ms.Alice that the doctor wanted to talk with her about something very important. She left with the nurse. Valentina was soo worry. 

~Two Days Later~

Valentina's POV

Alexa went to her house because she was here for the whole entire day yesturday. I told her to go and get some sleep, she didnt wanted to go. I told josh if he could stay with me so Alexa could go and get some sleep.After 4 hours. Alexa came back to the hospital. she told Josh to go and get some coffee or a soda so he could get some energy.Once he left someone knocked the door. 

Alexa's  POV

~knock knock~

Me: come in 

nurse: Valentina can leave anytime. The doctor told everything to your mom, for you to get your spine straight again.

Valentina: Yesss finally. Alexa can u help me get all my stuff? 

Me: of course

Valentina: can't wait to get out of this hospital.

~knock knock~

me: come in

Ms. Alicia: Valentina honey the nurse just told me that you can leave whenever you like to. Alexa I have something important i need you to help me.

Me: of course Ms. Alice. Can we talk in the waiting room.

Valentina: can i know too. 

Ms.Alice: Yes honey but i need to talk to both of yall separately.

Valentina: okay

Once we got to the waiting room. Ms.Alice told me that the only way that Valentina could get her spine straight it would be surgery. When she told me this my world sanked. I knew that Valentina would never want to get surgery on her back.Ms.Alice told me that she didn't knew how to tell me, so she asked if i could be with her when she told her the bad news.

3rd Person POV

Ms.Alice and Alexa waited until they  got to her house. Once they got there they settle Valentina in her room again. Ms.Alice and Alexa went to her room and sit on her bed. She looked so confused, Alexa actually knew that Valentina could see the sadness on their faces. She asked them if  everything was ok. But they didn't answer. Then her mom started talking.

Ms.Alice: Okay honey we got something to tell you and it's very important.

Alexa: Yeah but you cannot take this situation to affect you.

Valentina:  Alexa, mom yall scaring me, just tell me the bad news. 

Alexa: okay so you knew about this Scoliosis thing right?

Ms. Alice: so when i went to talk to the doctor, the doctor told me that the only way to get your spine straight again to for you to have surgery.

Valentina: So that means that i'm gonna have to go back to the hospital? 

Alexa: That dosen't mean your gonna have to stay there forever.Bur look at it from the bright side, your spine is gonna be straight again. 

Ms.Alice: yeah and then you won't have to to back to the hospital in a LONG time.

Valentina: true but i'm still scare of getting surgery

Alexa: It's gonna be alright you'll see

Valentina: mom can i just think about it. If i want to get surgery?

Ms.Alice: sure honey but you cannot take a long time okay?

Valentina: ok 

Then Ms.Alice left Alexa and Valentina so they can talk alone. Valentina looked really sad. Alexa started talking and she said that no matter what happened to her or any decisions she makes that she will be there for her.
