Third Person POV-
It had been raining on and off for the past few weeks, which was unusual for the area. It was usually warm, sunny, and an all around bright place. Children would laugh and yell as they ran around playing their games, not bothering to stop when their parents told them to. Adults walked on leisurely on most days as they set out for work, meeting friends or running errands. However as it began to rain everyone began to go inside to hide from the droplets and thunder. Even the children did so after their parents persuaded them. All were inside, that is except a young woman who walked all alone in the cold, harsh rain.
She could be described as pretty with fiery crimson hair that fell to her ankles, deep green eyes, and a body that got her some very unwanted attention. She had a big chest but she tried to hide it with a cloak most days when she was out looking for... something.
She had a blank look in her eyes as her body continued walking despite the mud that tried to hold her feet down. The woman had no idea what she was looking for, all she knew was that she couldn't remember anything and she felt sad and drained. Sighing she looked up and spotted a huge house in the middle of a huge field. She walked toward it, faster now; she had to get there before she collapsed from exhaustion.
Finally after a few minutes that felt like an eternity she reached the house and was about to knock when her body gave out. It collapsed underneath her and before her head hit the wooden porch she had fallen unconscious.
As she continued to lay there a man who had heard her hit the porch with a loud 'thud' opened the door and looked down at her. With a gasp the man went back inside and quickly located his roommate and quickly the two of them went back and brought the young woman inside. The second man was cussing and the first just smiled back at him no matter what the other said to him.
"You stupid bastard you could've carried her in here by yourself!" He exclaimed and the first sighed.
"But Roma~" He began but the second man he called Roma stopped him.
"I told you not to call me that Spain, you stupid bastard" But this time he said it quieter after the woman had shifted slightly.
"Let's just wait until she wakes up okay?" The one called Spain said (A/N I won't even dare to try their accents, I suck at them... Sorry. Or their languages either, maybe on occasion though).
So both men sat in chairs opposite of the couch they had laid the woman on, and both waited as they watched the woman sleep. She began tossing and turning as if in a nightmare and a few minutes after she shot up and screamed scaring both men out of their seats. Once she realized she was screaming the woman quickly stopped but nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw the two men who were now staring at her.
"H-h-hello" She stuttered out and Spain stepped forward.
"Hi my name's Antonio but my friends call me Spain" He said cheerfully and reached out his hand, which the woman hesitantly shook. "My friend over there is Romano." The woman looked to the other man and he nodded, but didn't step forward to greet her.
She looked at the cheerful one first, looking him over. He had brown hair and green eyes that sparkled with happiness as he smiled. He wore a simple white button up shirt and jeans. Then turning toward the other man she noticed his dark brown hair that had an odd curl coming out from one side. He had hazel eyes with light green and brown in them, unlike his friend he didn't offer up a smile and just stood there looking pissed.
"I-I, sorry did I do something to upset you?" The woman said with a strange, unidentifiable accent and Romano looked up and into the woman's eyes.
"No this is how my face always is." He said and the woman gave him a shy smile.
"Well I'm glad I didn't want to have already upset you." She said without the stutter and a different accent.
"Roma is such a grouchy one though I do try and get him to lighten up. Now then what might your name be?" Spain asked and the woman looked as though she was deep in thought for a moment before she answered,
"I-I ha-have no idea" She sighed and looked down as Romano's face became red in frustration.
"Are you fucking kidding me? How are we supposed to help you if you can't even remember your own fucking name?" He yelled and the woman shrunk back before Spain stepped in front of Romano and looked him in the eyes.
"Calm down or you'll scare her," Spain said softly and Romano looked toward the floor.
"You are such a stupid tomato bastard" Romano replied but stepped around the Spaniard and looked at the woman as she thought up what to say to him.
"It's fine I understand your frustration, if you could only imagine what I'm feeling." She said and the men shot each other a look.
"Well why don't you stay here with us until you can remember who you are and where you're from?" Spain asked and the woman smiled
"Are you sure I won't be a bother to you?" She asked looking up at the men with sad eyes.
"Of course you can, besides we can't exactly kick you out into the pouring rain. That would be very rude and inconsiderate of us." Spain replied and Romano gave a slight nod in agreement.
Suddenly the woman bolted up and hugged both of them tightly and said, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she was so happy it was as if she had changed personalities.
"You're welcome, now come along senorita and get you to a room so you can rest." Spain said and grabbed the woman's hand lightly dragging her down a hall and into the second room on the right.
"Whoa" the woman said as she looked at the large room in front of her. A huge canopy bed lay in the center of the far wall with deep crimson covers that were soft to the touch. A wardrobe rested against the left wall along with a closet and a full body mirror. On the opposite side was a bookshelf full of books in Spanish and a small desk.
"This will be your room during your time with us, now come on Roma~" Spain said and dragged the Italian out of the room as he yelled, "I told you not to call me that you bastard!"
Back in her room the woman giggled at the two and lay down, falling into a dreamless sleep.
