Chapter 1, first day back:

I wake up to my alarm screaming down my ear, and a very loud bust on my door. As I sit up I'm greeted by my mum and pancakes. She makes delicious pancakes. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to my Angle, happy birthday to you!!" did I mention it was my birthday. After half hour of a lecture on how I will still be mummy's girl and never ending story's of when I was little, I got dressed and did my make up curled my hair and got dressed.
I ran downstairs grabbed my money and my car keys and gave my mum a quick peck on the cheek and told her I was going. Before I could open the door she caught my attention. "open your present before you go please" I sat on the sofa and started to open the small box. I squealed with excitement and gave her a hug. "thank you, thank you, thank you!! " I had a grin ony face as I open the door and walked out to see my new Ford fiesta, it's not much of a car but it's better than my beaten down car. I gave her one last big hug and ran off. I told her I was going out straight after collage and drove off before giving her chance to reply.
When I got to collage I was 30mins early so I decided to take a look through the car. I checked the glove compartment and seen a card I was about to open it when I seen a familiar figure opening the car door. "hey baby, how the first day back already?" It was Jake. I haven't seen him for two days because he was helping him mates put and had to leave town. I glanced at him and he raised an eyebrow at me then clicked his fingers in my face, instantly snapping me put my thoughts. "someone's a little dazey today" I reply with a smile as he held out his hand for me to take. I walked to tutor and as I was about to open the door I got turned around and pushed against the wall.
"You didn't think I'd forget your birthday now, did you?" I looked at him with a smile, trying not to make him sound like a bad boyfriend. "come round mine tonight I want to spend some time together." He handed me a box with black leather all around it and I opened it to see that it was a bracelet with my name on it. As I look up he has a rose in his hand and chocolates in the other they was the perfect gifts that he has giving me in ages. I lean towards him to give him as kiss as I walk into lesson.

That day was dragging, so far I have had four people give me birthday beats, eight gifts of different people, loads of cards and thousands of 'happy birthday'. I head home and seen my mum sat on the sofa and told me to sit next to her. I'm not gonna lie I thought I did something wrong. She walked behind me with her hands over my eyes and lead me to the kitchen and it had a banner saying 'happy 17th birthday'. After that we watched movies and girls night in and I head to bed at 11pm.
