Chapter 1 (updated & edited)

A (h/l-h/c) haired girl walks into her room after doing the chores and throws herself on her bed. She turns her music up in her earbuds and doesn't hear the knocking on her door. The person opens the door and sees her laying on the bed. The little girl walks up to the older one and taps her shoulder. She sees the girl and pauses her music asking, "What do you need Alana?"

Alana hands her a package that says (y/n) Nanase on it. "Thank you, Alana," She says and Alana walked out of her room, closing the door. She opens the letter and starts reading it.

"Oh my gosh, I got in!!!" She says happily almost screaming into her pillow. The letter was from a night school (Ryoutei Academy, I think that's the name) and she has been waiting for a reply for weeks. She starts packing when her phone started to ring, she answered it and heard her father on the other end. "Hey, honey I heard that you got into that school. I talked to one of my friends who lives near the school and they said that you can stay there why you're going to school." He says and she smiles happily.

"Thanks, father I just started packing and I'll have to find a ride." She says but her father interrupts. "No (y/n) I have a car to come to pick you up and take you to the house." He says and they talk on the phone for a few minutes until he says he has to get back to work.

(y/n) finishes packing and lay down to listen to music. She was excited to get out of the home she's been in since her father left almost three years ago.

(Time skip to the next day in the evening)

Your P.O.V

I walk down the steps and toward the front door with my luggage. Alana runs up to me and hugs my leg not wanting to let go. Leaning down I hug her tiny body. She holds my (h/l) (h/c)hair and cries. "Don't worry I'll see you again," I say and she smiles nodding, letting me go.

I walk outside to the car and the driver helps me with my bags. "I have one more pickup then we'll be headed to your destination." He says and opens the door for me. I get in and watch as the car drives out of the sight of the old building. I listen to one of my favorite songs Bullet train by Stephen Swartz (nightcore version.) Before long we stopped and I saw a girl with short blonde waves walking toward the car. The driver helped her with her stuff and she got in the car and sat across from me.

"Hi I'm Yui, what's your name?" She says a little too cheerfully. I look up at her and say, "My name is (y/n)." I smile at her. She smiles back and tells me where she's going and we find out that our fathers know each other, and that we're both going to the same place. She asked me if I wanted to be her friend and I said yes.

"I've never had a friend like you Yui," I say and laugh, she laughs too. Soon she starts to look out the window so I turn my music up and take a nap.
