My smile was wide and my eyes glistened in the light of the full moon. The wind whipped my hair back out of my face, revealing the sight before me. The field, covered in freshly shed blood, glistened, the moving blades of grass giving the illusion the ground was a flowing river. The youngest of the western wolf packs, the Oheras, slaughtered just moments ago. The blade in my hand still dripped fresh blood from the Alpha's neck. Inhaling, lifting my nose to the sky, I could smell the change of the winds. The east was finally beginning to win the war, and I was leading the way to victory.
