Started with a Text (a Harry Styles fanfic)

Chapter 1

"Janie! Come and get your food."my mom yells.

"Coming!" I yell getting off my bed and changing to my jean shorts and Hollister shirt. I run down stairs to find a sandwich and apple chips waiting for me on the counter.

"Janie, you need to go to town today and get some things for me. There's a list on the fridge." She comes in with my keys which I thought I lost.

"I found these on the bathroom counter, in my room." She said throwing them to me.

I smile cheekily, while finishing my sandwich. I grab my phone and the list of stuff to get. I head to town and go to Walmart. I pick up eggs, bacon, fish, bread, and a vanilla frappe from Starbucks.

My phone buzzes saying I got a Facebook notification. I unlock my screen and go to Facebook. I got a message from Makenlie saying that there's a party tonight. I reply I'll be there.

I check out an hand the cashier the money to pay for the food. When my phone goes off again. I look and see its my mom calling. I answer it and tell her that I'm going shopping for a new dress and shoes and I'll be home for supper.

I go to my favorite dress and shoe store, Party Time. They have the best prom dresses, which I also got there. I go straight to the new arrivals and find the perfect dress, a brown strapless lace dress with a belt and pair of silver sparkly shoes to go with.

After a got home I put away the food and ate. I went straight up to my bedroom and layed out my dress and shoes. I take a hot, long shower.

I get out and put on my dress and shoes and do my makeup. It's hot out so I put a small layer of powder on and put black eyeliner on and silver eye shadow. I put a small layer of cherry lipgloss on and head to my car.

At Niko's

Niko is Makenlie's boyfriend, I swear I think they're the cutest couple. They've been dating for three years and seven months. I actually think the relationship is going to last unlike mine. My relationships always last at least three months. Enough talking about me and my bad relationships back to Makenlie and Niko. Niko has taken Makenlie to prom all four years and to movies and parties and other stuff that I probably do not know about.

I drive to Niko's house and the party is already started. Music is blaring from the back yard and lights are strung everywhere, which is probably from Makenlie.

I walk around back through the gate and go and get a drink. On my way there, I see Makenlie so I yell her name and she looks at me. I give her "lets get a drink" look and he follows.

"How old are you?" The bartender asks me. "I'm 20, you want me to show me my i.d.?" I ask looking straight in his eyes.

"No your good. What can I get ya?" He asks me grabbing a glass. "The firefly" I saw while he pores me the drink. I grab the drink and go to the dance floor.

I start dancing when a familiar beat and familiar words.

"Jump out your car in the middle of the street,

Open up your trunk let the base beat,

Go ahead

Go ahead....

Walk into da club bare footed

I like that booty you know where to put it

Go ahead

Go ahead....."

Booty work comes on an over rides my hips and when the chorus comes on it takes my whole body to.

"Come and let me see that Booty work booty boo-boo booty work (twice) ....."

After the song is over I'm the one that the spot light is on while I'm finishing the dance. After about two more rounds of shots I'm wasted. I try finding Makenlie to tell her I going home to sleep, but I can't find her. So I walk home.

"Janie. Janie. Janie." I wake up to Makenlie saying my name softly trying to wake me up. I roll over to look at my alarm clock and see its noon. I jump out of bed and get dressed quickly. I run down stairs grab a cheese stick and run back upstairs to brush my teeth after I ate the cheese stick.

"Janie, hurry your going to miss are shift at 1." Makenlie yells at me from my room. I run to my room and slapped some makeup on and grabbed my flats and ran to her car.

We were at Factory Connection by 12:45. We start putting clothes on the racks and seeing if anyone needs help. After our shifts were over we went back to my house and sat around an watched movies.

I go threw my newsfeed in Facebook. Looking at nothing but One Direction. Then I see something that pops out. A picture of all the boys, which was so hot. The admin said to comment who are favorite 1D person is and the winner will get to talk to their favorite 1D person. I go to the comments and write Harry Styles and hope I win. But usually I don't so I didn't have that big of a hope anymore.

I click the home button on my iPhone and skip threw the previews till I got to the main menu. I press play when my phone goes off. I unlock my phone and see that I got a notification.

"Janie, u have won the contest for favorite 1D person. U will get messaged by Harry Styles in 15 minutes. I hope you got your dreams gurl!" - 1D is Super Sexy! <3
