emily's pov-
*beep beep beep*
I wake up to the sound of my slightly deafening alarm clock at five o'clock in the morning and my mom yelling "Honey time to get ready! You're leaving soon!"
I quickly respond with "Ok mom! I'll be down in a minute!" I lay in bed for another minute and check the clock to see that it's already 5:15 so I quickly hop out of bed. I walk into my closet and pick out a white crop top and a sweatshirt to go over it, with some leggings and my gray uggs. I walk into my bathroom and rinse my face off. I put my hair into a messy bun and just put on some simple light concealer and some mascara with some Chapstick considering I have a five hour flight so I don't need much makeup. I'm really excited but today I have to say goodbye to some of my friends since I'm going to college in California at UCLA. Luckily,
me and my best friend Lauren are going to UCLA together since its been a dream of ours since sixth grade. I check my Instagram while walking downstairs to get a big breakfast because I have a big day ahead. I get a call from Lauren saying she's coming soon to pick me up and drive to the airport. I say goodbye to my mom getting very nervous and excited to be chasing my dreams and going to the college of my dreams with my best friend. When Lauren picks me up I lug my bags out into her car and get ready to drive to the airport. I hop in the car and she pops in her One Direction Made In The Am cd knowing that it's both our favorites. We shortly arrive at the airport and wait for our flight to announce over the intercom. We board the plane and before we know it both fall asleep with both our phones and our Starbucks in our hands...
so typical.
