Chapter 7- Ha, asshole.

Jai's POV:

I was sitting at the table eating dinner when i felt my phone buzzing in my pocket. Curiously, i took it out, revealing the name on the screen which was Lola, i slid my finger across the screen to answer the call.

"Hey Lola whats up?" I questioned.

"Hey Jai, nothing really" she slyly replied.

"I just wanted to ask you something" she added.

"Yeah sure go ahead, what is it Lo?" Sliding my knife and fork down onto the plate, i stood up and made my way into the bedroom.

"I was just wondering if you would like to come somewhere with me tonight? You know like a small party, get together, i don't know" the sweetness in her tone made me get butterflies in my stomach.

"Yeah sure, where and what time?" I asked, slightly curious as to who she got this from.

"Ummmm, around 7 or 8ish, at 38 Anderson"

"Hmm, yeah sure why not" i rubbed my face, running my hand through my hair soon after.

"Good, yeah, okay. So um, i'll come to your house around 7 okay?" I could sense the un-certainty in her voice which made me wonder.

"Yeah yeah, see you then. Bye" i spoke

"Byeee" and with that, the line went dead. I don't know why but i didn't feel to sure about this. If i knew the person she would of said who's. So obviously she had just met the person. The address '38 Anderson road' lingered in my mind. I tried to think positive, maybe it's just someone from school who i didn't know she knew? Maybe.

Lola POV:

I was so excited if i must say so. It was just the thought of finally going out to a some what of a party, and the best thing about it is that it was with Jai. However, on the phone, i wasn't convinced Jai was all for it. I don't know why but i felt as though he was un sure of something. Should i of told him who invited me? Or that i met this boy on the street just a couple of hours ago?

I was finally ready. (Outfit ~http://www.jonesandjonesfashion.com/products/Jones-and-Jones-Monica-Dress-.html). It was 7pm and i was ready to go to Jai's. As i made my way downstairs, i wondered if going to some random boys house who i met literally 5 hours ago or something was a good idea, but i was going with Jai so i guess it would be okay if anything did happen. I carried on into the living room to grab my key since my mum had a night shift at her new job as a nurse. Switching of the tv, i made sure everything was fine before leaving out the door and locking it behind me. The cool night breeze gently hitting my skin making me feel at peace, i carefully walked up jai's pathway then placing a soft knock onto the door. I waited for a few seconds before a distant figure gradually got closer to the door. My eyes where revealed to a taller boy with green eyes and perfect dark brown hair.

"Hey um, is Jai there?" Nervously, i questioned, not knowing how to feel at this moment.

"Yeah sure, step in he's just finishing of getting ready" he gestured inside. He seemed so friendly. I did as he said and made my way inside the door. Gina, his mum, was sitting on the couch, not realising that i had stepped in.

"So, im guessing you're Lola from across the street. I heard you're from

England huh" he said whilst taking a seat on the counter top.

"No i just happen to have a british accent" i sarcastically remarked. Quite rude of me if i say so.

"Ooo, i see we're dealing with a sarcastic one here" he smirked.
