If there's one thing I know about sibling rivalry its that it can last for weeks. I don't think the hinges on Scott's and I's doors can handle the constant slamming anymore, and it's all because of the stupid full moon. I don't remember anything from that night, I don't even remember where we were. But whatever happened must've been bad because Scott hasn't talked to me since it happened, he won't even explain what happened. Our little feud has been affecting the whole pack, we can't get anything done.

"Scott! Skarlytt! I swear if you guys don't stop slamming your doors, I'm gonna take 'em off!" Mom threatened from the hallway, banging on both of our doors. I huffed, crossing my arms, brooding on my bed. Mom still waited in the hallway, the absence of footsteps climbing down the stairs gave it away, she was waiting. I gave in and stomped towards my door, opening it with a little to much force.

"Well if Scott wasn't such a baby and actually communicated with me..." I knew that would provoke him, he always hated it when I called him out. I listened closely, nothing but silence was heard in his room; and then footsteps. I smirked, glancing over at mom who was just standing there, giving me the typical "mom is pissed off" look. His door whipped open, revealing a very disheveled and angry looking Scott.

"I have communicated with you! You just don't listen!" He yelled, stepping fully out of his room.

"When? You haven't even looked at me let alone said anything!" I fought back, stepping closer to him.

"Ok! Ok! Let's take this to the living room! I just redecorated this hallway after your last fight. I still can't get the claw marks out." Mom mumbled, guiding us down the stairs and pushing us into opposite ends of the couch.

"Now we are going to talk this out, this little feud ends right here, right now." Mom explained, sitting in the chair across from us. "Now, what exactly happened that night?" Mom crossed her arms, looking towards me for an answer.

"What? I don't know what happened, I remember nothing from that night." I repeated for about the hundredth time.

"Oh bullshit, you know exactly what happened!" Scott glared at me, causing me to reach for him, I really wanted to punch him right now.

"Hey! No hitting!" Mom pulled my arms away from him. "And no swearing in this house, young man." She pointed a finger at Scott, making him slink back in his seat. "Now, you. You explain what happened." She looked over at Scott, he sighed, opening his mouth to speak.

Before he could say anything, the front door burst open, causing all of us to sort of jump. Stiles stood in the doorway, he was dressed in his lacrosse uniform.

"Scott! What're you doing?! It's the last practice before the game, we gotta go!" Stiles exclaimed, throwing Scott's shoes at him.

"Oh sh-" Scott shot up, running up the stairs to his room.

"Wait! We were working things out!" Mom yelled, sighing after she realized that he no longer cared. I stood up, walking out of the living room.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going? I never said you weren't ungrounded." Mom stood up, placing a hand on her hip.

"Umm I-uh." I racked my brain to think of an excuse, I needed to get out of this house before school, it was driving me crazy being trapped in here.

"She's coming to practice." Stiles blurted out, receiving a raised eyebrow look from mom. "Yeah, she's my lucky charm." Stiles pulled me into him, my face squished into his chest. Before mom could reply, Scott came barreling down the stairs.

"Ready to go?" He looked at Stiles, giving a strange look towards the position he and I were in.

"Actually I need to grab my bag first, I'll meet you guys in the Jeep." I pulled away from Stiles, running up to my room to grab my backpack and my phone. Once again I felt stuck, Scott and I had gotten nowhere and I still don't know what I did that night.

"Hustle boys, hustle! My grandma can do better than this.....and she's dead!" Coach encouraged the boys as they ran around the field while Lydia and I sat on the bleachers. We were going over an English assignment when Lydia brought up the unspeakable topic that had been bothering everyone.

"Have you and Scott figured things out yet?" She sighed, leaning against the bleachers behind her as she turned to look at me.

"We tried to this morning until we were interrupted by Stiles." I explained, my eyes scanned the field for the boy I've known since grade school, finding him when he fell down.

"Do you even have a guess towards what happened?" Lydia asked, pulling me away from watching Stiles fall again.

"No clue." I shrugged, "Well, there's something-nah it's stupid never mind." I shook my head, sitting back.

"No! Tell me!" Lydia moved closer to me, waiting for me to talk.

I sighed, my eyes were now fixed on my hands. "I-I remember Stiles. I remember hearing his heartbeat."

"Um ok, was there something distinct about it?"

"I remember it sounded like he was scared.....but there's something else."

"What?"

"I can always here it, his heart beating. Ever since that night; I know when he's around, I know when he's excited or when he's scared. It's-it's like I'm tethered to him." I explained, only glancing at Lydia for a moment. She said nothing, she sat there taking it all in. Before she could even speak, if she was even going to, the bell rang signalling first class. As I packed up my stuff I noticed Kira and Scott walking together back to the locker rooms, they were holding hands and laughing and smiling. I pursed my lips, I would die before I admitted this to anyone but I was jealous. Out of all my one night stands and hookups, all I wanted was a relationship; someone to hold hands with and smile with. If only finding someone was easy.

"Hey, can I walk you to class?" Stiles sauntered up to me, his hair still wet from the shower he just took.

"Stiles, I have English in the morning. You have Math, they're on opposites ends of the school. You'll be late for class." I shook my head, slowly turning away from the boy.

"It's not like it's the first time I'll be late." He shrugged, catching up to me. As we walked towards the school, I pondered back and forth if I should ask him the question. Maybe he'd tell me.

"Stiles?" I bit my lip, unsure of how he would react.

"Mhmm?" He hummed, opening the door to the school for me.

"What happened....that night?" I stopped walking and turned to face him.

"Uh-well." He cleared his throat, obviously tossing around how to explain it. "Skar, I don't know any other way to put this-"

"Stiles just tell me!" I raised my voice, causing a few stares from people. I immediately glared them off and looked back to Stiles.

"You tried to kill Scott." His words stuck daggers in my back, and sent my brain into overdrive causing me to fall back against the lockers. Stiles reached for my arms, bracing me so I didn't fall. The blank space from that night started to fill in, every piece and fragment put back into place, and suddenly I remembered everything.

"Yo-your heartbeat.....it was me. You were afraid of me." I mumbled, tears had started to stream down my face. The memories were to much, my brain couldn't take it; and once again I found myself blacking out.
