Ayeon and Bora used the two hours they had left before the party for getting ready. Ayeon straightened her hair and did simple makeup. Bora on the other hand, curled her hair and did her makeup as if she was on her way to prom.

Ayeon looked good in her skirt and sweater, but she thought differently. To her she looked fat and unworthy to wear the skirt, she was used to wearing sweaters however and tried to beg Bora to just lt her wear a pair of jeans.

The response was always the same, "You look good, just suck it up and wear the skirt for the night." Ayeon pouted and sat on her bed trying to look as angry as possible.

"You know that doesn't work on me. Now come on we are going to be late." Bora said.

Ayeon reluctantly got up off the bed and slipped on her combatt boots following Bora to the car. It didn't take them long to arrive at Hoseok and his friend's house since he wasn't far from the college campus. Ayeon dreaded their arrival, but Bora was as cheerful as could be. She wasn't new to parties, she often spent her Friday and Saturday nights at parties thrown by people like Hoseok.

When they arrived Ayeon immediately headed towards the back porch since she figured there would be less people. As suspected there was only two other people back there, a girl her age and a boy she recognized from one of her classes. There were chairs set up and she sat in one enjoying the fresh air. She liked it back here where all that could be heard was the faint thumping of the music and the quiet conversation of the two people across the porch. She sat alone for an hour before Bora found her.

"Ayeon! What are you doing out here? The party's inside come on." She slurred her words, obviously drunk out of her mind.

"I'm good Bora, just come get me when you want to leave." Ayeon replied looking up at her.

"Just come one." Bora grabbed her arm and pulled her inside to the kitchen, grabbing her a drink and pushing it in her arm.

Ayeon didn't object the drink, but didn't drink it. She knew sooner or later Bora would force her to have a drink so she would wait till then. She was pulled again, but this time to the living room where everyone seemed to gather dancing to the music. Bora let go if Ayeon and joined them, getting lost in the crowd.

There was a small couch in the corner of the room that Ayeon sat on, deciding that she would just drink whatever Bora gave her. It burned her throat as she swallowed it, but she took another sip. The people around her dancing to whatever song was blaring through the speakers, occasionally leaving towards the kitchen coming back with a cup filled with the alcohol provided.

Ayeon spotted Hoseok leaning against the wall opposite of her staring at her. She looked away when their eyes met and took another sip of her cup, emptying it's contents. Little did she know Hoseok was walking her way.

"Hey Ayeon." He said.

Ayeon looked up quickly and smiled before looking back down. She didn't feel like talking to anyone, especially him.

"You should come dance with me." He says.

She shakes her head and continues looking down, debating wether or not to go get another drink. The couch dipped next to her and an arm went around her shoulder. She looked at Hoseok again and he just smiled pulling her into her side.

"You look really good." He said.

Ayeon felt hear rush to her cheeks and was thankful that there was barely any light in the corner.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"We should go to my room."

"No thanks I'm good here." She responds.

"Come on, it'll be fun." He pushes.

Hoseok drunk out of his mind has no idea what he's doing. When Ayeon refuses again he gets mad that she won't go with him and says something he has no control over.

"You know what. You don't look good, you look disgusting. You look fat in that skirt. You shouldn't have even come. No one is going to like you if you look like that." He says standing up and stomping off.

Ayeon didn't move from her seat on the couch. She felt the tears in her eyes and didn't stop them as they started falling.

Am I really like that? Is that what everyone thought of me? She thought to herself.

With tears falling she pushes herself off the couch and walks through the crowd of people trying to find Bora. She spots her dancing with one of Hoseok's friends Namjoon and walks to her.

"Bora can we please leave." She says quietly.

"Why?" She asks.

"I just want to leave. Please Bora let's go." She begs.

"I'm staying. Feel free to take my car and go home." She says.

Ayeon nods and takes Bora's keys to her car. She walks to it and sits in the drivers seat, starting it and pulling out of the drive way. She makes it home and changes clothes, curling up in her bed and falling asleep.

--------

I really suck at third person so I'm thinking of changing it to Ayeon's point of view for the rest of the story.  I just think that when I write in third person I completely blank out because I'm used to using first person. So just a heads up if I do change it to Ayeon's view.

Thanks for reading and I'll update again soon.
