Prologue

'Where are we going.' She giggled trying to remove the blindfold.

'It's a surprise now stop peeking, just a few more steps come on.' He tells her taking her hand he guides her towards the hillside.

'We're here.' He gently removes the blindfold from her face and pecks her lips.

'Finally I--- Oow woow, Will this is beautiful.' Stephanie says taking in the place. When she turns around she finds him bending down on his knee. 'Oh god, Will?'

'Stephanie, I want you forever, forever and always. Through the good, the bad and the ugly to grow old together. Forever and always. So Stephanie, my love will you please do me the honor of being my wife?' He says taking out a little black velvet box.

'Yes, oh god yes! Will.' She answers. He stands up and takes her in his arms. 'I love you,' he whispers in her ear.

I looked up at the clock above the door, it's already 8PM. Where is he? He was suppose to be here at 6 for their dinner date. I decided to walk to the window, maybe he got stuck at work? No, he always calls if he's running late.

I texted him various times already but he has yet to answer them, I was getting really annoyed but most of all worried. I then called Jack a colleague of him.

He picks up after three rings:

'Hey, with Stephanie is Will still at the office?'

'No, he left at five thirty, he was running late for your dinner. Why is something wrong?' Jack asked hearing her concerned voice.

'Oh, yes he isn't home yet and isn't answering his phone.' I said now pacing the room one hand in my hair.

'Oh, oke listen to me stay calm oke? I am going to hang up and try his phone. You stay calm I'm sure everything is just fine. I'll call you after.' After that the line goes dead.

I clutch the phone tightly to my chest, please let everything be oke. I look out of the window again there is no one in the driveway. Suddenly the phone in my hands rings again. I quickly answered it expecting Jack.

'Jack! Have you reached him why isn't he answering me?'

'Ma'am' A voice calls out from the other side.

'Ma'am, your speaking to LAPD is this Ms. Gabriel speaking?'

'Yes, this is she. How can I help you?' I politely answer trying to keep myself from breaking down.

'Ms. Gabriel, there has been a car accident, it involved a William Sky.' The voice informed her.

'No, no no no... That can't be he's just late. Yes, he on his way.' I tell them this must be a joke Will is the safest driver I know.

'Ma'am, William Sky was victim of the accident. Mr. Sky has been transferred to LA general Hospital if you would please come to that hospital we have people who can further inform you of the accident that took place.' The voice said.

'Oke, thank you.' I said and hung up. My voice quivering. This couldn't be happening not to Will, not to us.

I didn't get to sit down for a moment or even set the phone down properly before it rang again. 'Hello?' I ask.
