A Years Worth of Dreams

It's been over 10 years and Skye and Blaze are now married.  Skye has given birth to Scootaloo but things aren't looking too good as only 2 weeks after giving birth she developed a cancer and Blaze divorced Skye because he didn't want to deal with his daughter and wife anymore... Flutter Shy willingly took care of  baby Scootaloo while everyone waited for Skye's condition to improve.

Flutter Shy: (To baby Scootaloo) Sshhhhh it's ok... Mommy is going to be fine I promise..
I know it's hard for you but until your mommy gets better I'll take good care of you..

**DING DONG**

Flutter Shy: (opens the door and sees Derpy standing before her, Derpy seems very sad and worried)

Derpy: (hands Flutter Shy the letter and turns to leave hesitantly)

Flutter Shy: (Opens the letter and begins to read.)

My dear Flutter Shy... I ask that you come visit me one last time... This may be the last
time I get to see you and my dear daughter...

Flutter Shy: (shocked with tears running down
her face she hurried to the hospital with baby Scootaloo...)

15 minutes later Flutter Shy finally arrives at the hospital and makes her way to Skye's hospital room. When she gets there she hands Skye Scootaloo and sits down near the hospital bed...

Skye Dancer: Flutter Shy... I'm sorry for this... I know I promised I'd be ok... But I guess I was wro-

Flutter Shy: (Interrupting) No! Stop apologizing! It's not your fault! (Begins to cry) It was never your fault.... Skye please don't apologize..

Scootaloo: M-mommy.... (Begins to cry and gives Skye a hug)

Skye: (smiling a bit trying not to cry) ..I... I thought I'd never hear your first word....

Scootaloo: M-Mom....M-Mommy

Skye: (Holding Scootaloo tight and starting to cry) I-I'm gonna miss you too....
