I love you

Annabelle pov.

"Belle I have something I need to tell you" Toby whispers to me when he pulls me into a hug.

"What?" I say with a confused look on my face.

"I love you" he says very weakly.

"I love you too" I say as I start crying into his chest. I feel him kiss my head very lightly.

After that I hear the heart monitor start slowing down.

I just sit there hugging Toby listening to the heart monitor slow down.

When I heard the final beep I knew it I had lost my best friend and the love of my life.

When I heard the nurses and doctors run in every thing went into a burl.

The only thing I remember from that moment is the nurses telling me to go out of the room.

After sitting in the waiting room for a few minutes i start to hear Toby's family run in i start to hear them crying i decide not to look i just sit there trying to believe what has just happened wasn't true.

I feel his family come over to me and try to comfort me with the others but it didn't work.

No one could comfort me.

My best friend is dead and no one could change it.

After that all that happened today I just went home and laid in my bed and thought about what had happened in the month.

Running into him in the hall

him following me home after school asking if I was ok.

him helping me carry my books to class.

All those other times we hanged out together after that.

When I woke up the next morning it took me a couple seconds to realize that what had happened last night was real.

When I finally decided to get up it was already afternoon. I had spent most of the day just sitting in my bed thinking of what had happened yesterday.

It had seemed like it was going to be a perfect day. Me and Toby had made plans for last night to celebrate knowing each other for a month. But that all changed when I received that one single phone call.
