To me, you're like any good Summer day
Perfect, simple, and sweet.
When You came into my life unexpectedly,
You swept me off my feet.
Like a warm ocean breeze, your smile beckons me
Daring me to drive 'till I hit the sea
Leaving my doubts and my worries behind
Until it's just the saltwater and you and me.
Your eyes sparkle like the sun upon the waves
Especially when you tell me I'm beautiful
Oh, if only I could be in this moment forever!!
When all things are right and wonderful.
So let's savor this time we have together
Thankfully, you're not like Summer in every way
For, with time, Summer yields to Fall and her cold
But you- ah, you choose to stay.
