Chapter 17- Back on the Platform

It has been two weeks since everyone has been buzzing about the what happened that day. Hagrid's supposedly mad hippogriff had escaped and so had Sirius Black. Not to mention Pettigrew, for whom you couldn't care a rat's arse.

You entered the only empty compartment in the Hogwarts train. Audrey followed you to the window seat and opened up the latest issue of Quibbler.

Fred and George huddled into the compartment and put aside their trunks.

"So, that's the end of our fifth year! I didn't know time flew so fast when we were having fun." Fred said, referring to the past few weeks you had spent together happily, pulling pranks, hypnotizing Mrs. Norris and what-not.

Audrey put down the magazine and looked out the window fondly. The tip of the Astronomy tower could still be seen at a far distance.

"End of seventh year for me." Audrey mumbles almost inaudibly.

You sigh sadly. Even you didn't want to leave Au-

"Drey?"

You look up to the door and see Percy poke his head in. You stare at him questioningly.

He avoids your eye purposefully and beckons Audrey...or should I say 'Drey'?

You look back at Audrey, raising a eyebrow.

Audrey leaves the compartment, concentrating at her shoes the whole time.

...

"TRAITOR!" You shout out, once they leave.

George sniggers. "She didn't tell you?"

You stare at him, mouth gawking. "What didn't she tell me that you apparently seem to know?" You manage to splutter.

Fred, being Fred, laughed.

"Percy's dating Audrey." He mumbles between laughs.

Your mouth couldn't fall any further. "Who told you guys?"

Fred, still being Fred, laughed harder.

George sat down opposite to you and smirked. "We know many things that aren't told."

You gasp with realization. "Y-you saw them?"

"Snogging like love-birds in the Astronomy Tower." Fred replied.

George elbowed him hard. "I was going to bribe her!" He muttered.

"Hey! She's my girlfriend."

That shut you up for the rest of the ride.

You push your trolley through the wall between the two platforms. The sound of magic rung through your ears.

Magic apparently, didn't last that long.

Instead, the sound of two people smooching welcomed your ears.

"What the flobberworm dung, people?" You say, pushing yourself through the crowd, to the couple.

You recognize Percy's orange hair. "What are you doing here?" You still hadn't forgiven him for taking away your friend, Audrey.

He spins to you and you see Audrey peeking from behind him.

"Audrey?" You say, petrified.

Percy huffs up in his coat and tie. "I have come to see my brothers and sister off and I have some business at Hogwarts and Dre- I mean, Audrey has come to see her friends off." He added.

Audrey shoves him to the side and steps up to you excitedly, muttering "You were never good at speaking, Percy."

You snigger at Percy's flabbergasted face while Audrey chuckles lightly.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N), HERE!"

Audrey sighs heavily. "Loverboy here, has been looking for you since breakfast."

You smile fervently, "I'll be back soon. Promise."

You turn, not caring about the trolley you left behind, to look for Fred.

You see him waving to you at the other end of the platform and in no time, you are there.

"Hey, beautiful." Fred takes your waist and starts dancing in an amusing way, making you laugh.

"Oh stop that, Fred. You can do more of that later at school." Molly comes along, whisking you and Fred towards that train.

"Later? What do mean later?" Fred and George sat simultaneously.

Molly smiles slyly towards Percy.

"MUUUM!" The tipsy-twins whine, sending the others in fits of laughter.

"Now, get in, you whole lot of baboons." She kids while she rubs away tears and hugs you all tight.

You give your mom also a big hug, who returns the gesture with equal gusto.

"Bye, mum." You whisper into her ear just before climbing onto the train.

"Bye, (Y/N). Write letters often." She waves, jogging to keep up with the train.

"I will, mom. I will."
